I'm a base player/ singer for a band. Base is supposed to follow the drums unless you play spacegrass. But overall nice job. Drummer isn't the best, but you'll get it. Nice Job

Well maybe I am being too critical because of what and who it is but here is a good example of JP's drumming and his "less is more approach". Your version is too happy and to much filler. This is not your style of music it seems drummer. Those 16th note accents on the high hat are not working for me. Tempo was too fast and the singing was egh. Keep working on it.
Playing a little faster is not the problem. The feel of the song is nowhere close. Listen to the drums???? The bass and the guitar are working well together. The feel of the song is lost with these happytime over accents on the kick and the high hat. I am a drummer and JP is one of my fav's. I'll play for you guys.
