  • To me the young turks channel is just filled with opinions that really do not matter. Its like this channel thinks knows what they are talking about. Also they seem to have a biased view towards the left which makes me wonder if they are just trying to make people to the right look bad. I wish they had more of a balance of approach when talking about theses issues and not trying to make a certain group look bad.

  • @thereasonableguy1 should have said this channel thinks it knows what they are talking about(in second sentence). my mistake.

  • These subtitles are fucking hilarious.

  • HEY TURKS,.,., why won't you carry my sons story on your show, when you carry others like his. His shows wrongfully accused and convictions against minor children who waived their miranda rights, were covered under disability act, set up, framed, blamed for a capital murder by his best friend, and the police believe his best friend, over Bryce, when the man who died named his murderer.. his own son Nick. Control and Money-no bias, no indifference. is this why... cause his truth doesn't have that

  • @shalcall have you seen the porkulous list? I have! You'd be shocked how tax payer dollers are wasted. If you want the list my email is NmyDaddysArms@yahoo.com.

  • @shalcall GE paid no taxes last year. Obama bailed out banks! He nationalized the auto industry through the bailouts ect.... He spent more money than all presidents combined and drove us into massive debt!

  • @shalcall Obama deserves a primary at this point.

  • @lukegreen37 And what I said 3 months ago still holds. You primary Obama and you hand the presidency over to the Republicans during a time when 4 Supreme Court Justices are 72 or older. That's like asking for conservatism to take over the country.

  • @shalcall Obama is already a conservative, just more moderate than others at this point.

And why would primarying Obama hand the presidency over to the Republicans? What if his opponent is more well-received than him, and he ends up winning much of the progressive/liberal.Democratic vote?

  • @lukegreen37 OMFG. Look at the history of primarying incumbents from either party.

Secondly, as conservative as you think Obama might be, his supreme court appointments have been liberal. Do you really think any current Republican candidate is going to appoint someone that wouldn't immediately vote to overturn Roe v. Wade?

  • @shalcall No, but do you really think Obama will actually defend his appointments, with his record of compromising almost constantly?

The man continued the Bush wiretaps, extended the tax cuts, intensified troop deployment in Afghanistan, made a deal with companies to severely water down the Public Option; he's a Republican-light, and in some ways, even worse than bush, because he's portraying himself as "centrist".

  • @lukegreen37 Actually, he defended his first 2 supreme court appointments, so I don't know wtf you're basing your assumption on.

And your other assertions need to be looked at in context. I agree with you on the Bush wiretaps, but the tax cuts were congress's fault, he CAMPAIGNED on escalating Afghanistan, and compromises on the health care bill can also be placed at congress's feet. Who do you think was a better Democratic president?

  • @shalcall Which of those 2 appointments would those be?

Obama has continued to give tax cuts to the rich, regardless if it was Congress' fault or not. Since when did he campaign on escalating Afghanistan? He said he wanted take troops out of Iraq, but he never mentioned Afghanistan. He made deals with hospitals to kill the Public Option.

  • @lukegreen37 So it doesn't matter that the man went stumping for rise in taxes on the rich BEFORE the 2010 midterm elections and that congress ignored his pleas because they thought it would hurt their reelection campaigns? It doesn't matter that democrats in congress caucased with republicans on tax cuts during that time?

And yes, he did campaign on escalating Afghanistan. Do a search on fucking Youtube, plenty of videos back me up on this.

    You sound like irrational teabagger.

  • @shalcall Who did he defend for those appointments? He sure as hell won't defend Elizabeth Warren.

When Byran Dorgin wanted to import cheaper drugs into the country, saving us 100 billion dollars over the next decade, Obama and Emanuel switched ten Democratic votes in order to kill Dorgin's bill. That's Obama in a nutshell. Clinton was the same, but he actually helped make a surplus.

  • @lukegreen37 Does Warren still work for him, yes or no? Maybe you don't understand how our system of government works. The Republicans have promised to filibuster ANY appointment to the new Consumer Protection Agency. Look up Barney Frank's comments on this. You sound like you think Obama can wave a magic wand and do anything.

That's not the way it actually works.

  • @shalcall He can approach someone (like, say, Scott Brown), and if he wants to change his vote, he'd say "If your popular in your district, we can help fund-raise for you so you can get re-elected, but only if you vote for us. If you don't vote for us, we won't raise any money for you, talk to the majority/minority leaders and their lobbyists to cut off the money for you; good luck on your own after that."

It's what the Republicans do all the time to their politicians

  • @lukegreen37 Not Brown; I meant someone like Evan Bayh.

  • @lukegreen37 Oh, you meant Evan Bayh. You do realize that Obama campaigning for Evan Bayh or any other conservadem would be liability for that Democrat, right? Just like if Dick Cheney were to campaign for Scott Brown in Massachusetts. It would hurt his chances, not help him.

It's like you're unaware of political realities.

  • @shalcall It helps the Republicans all the time. Remember what happened to Joseph Gao? He was elected in a Democratic majority state, so he said he'd be moderate and bipartisan, and voted for Obama's health care bill. Once he did that, his fundraising dropped off a cliff; he lost 40% after that vote, mainly from lobbyists and conservative consultants. The Associated Press addressed that story.

Obama can do the same thing.

  • @lukegreen37 Another example is how Scott Brown, of all people, voted for the Jobs' bill, and everyone started ripping him apart from his Facebook page, to talk show hosts, pictures of him being a traitor, assaults from Beck; you name it, so he backpedaled.

  • @lukegreen37 You make the mistake of thinking that Democrats are as monolithic as Republicans. There is not one issue, NOT ONE, that all Democrats agree on. You put forward tax cuts and you know that ALL republicans will back them, and some Democrats. Abortion, Unions, Affirmative Action, there are significant portions of the Democratic party that disagree on each of those issues. This is one reason why we can never be like the Republicans.

  • @shalcall And the main reason why Dems don't always agree is because of people like Evan Bayh, Joe Lieberman and even the Clintons; the first two are Republicans disguised as Democrats, the last two are more conservative. In a way, the right has "tainted the left", as it were.

  • @shalcall I warned you. Obama has backtracked on his Warren appointment.

  • @lukegreen37 According to Warren, she was never going to get the appointment. Apparently (and this is according to her) he offered her a choice, she could either set up the agency OR she could become the head of the agency after it was set up, but she wouldn't be able to talk about it before he nominated her. She decided to take the first job. That's her own story.

And, is the person he is actually nominating not as good as Warren? Even though he's made a career out of going after banks?

  • @shalcall He hasn't gone after the banks; he's been defending them.

  • @lukegreen37 Richard Cordray, Obama's nominee, has been defending banks?

Methinks you need to do a google search.

  • @shalcall I meant Obama himself.

Just watch the time when he worked behind the scenes to kill the Public Option, or when he spat on his voters' face by derogatorily calling them "YOU people".

  • @lukegreen37 It sounds like your the type of person that's going to hate Obama no matter what he does. So there's not point in continuing this conversation.

  • @shalcall Just watch the video "Obama You Progressives" on TYT. It'll prove my point.

  • @shalcall people hate Obama because he is just like Bush, a liar! Obama's approval rating is in the pits due to his policies plain and simple! Even the black community and the Jewish community, those who supported Obama are turning their backs against him, one might ask why?

  • @MsTheresaKelly1 Because people are fucking uninformed. That's why. There is plenty of legitimate gripes that progressives can have with Obama. But every time I have a conversation with some progressive who now hates Obama (and they've usually hated him since he took office), they're upset over something he had little control over. I keep seeing people pissed that he didn't raise taxes on the rich. HE TRIED. He couldn't convince people in his OWN party.

  • @lukegreen37 Obama is going to help fund raise for a Republican like Scott Brown in order to get him for one or two votes? Are you fucking serious. You yourself would be back on here saying LOOK AT HIM, I TOLD YOU HE WAS A REPUBLICAN! You're not being fucking serious.

  • Comment removed

  • This shit's so fucking retarded... I know the kennedy-dude is trying to get us to stop using the R-word, but this is just.... OK.

COMPROMISE: Retard no longer has any connection to those able to apply to the special olympics, but is synonymous for something being dumb in the context of Washington DC. Cuz I can't think of any word that explains this as well as RETARDED.

  • Obama's not getting my vote for the next general election. Looks like

  • WOULD YOU ALLWAKE UP??????????? DEMOCRATS AND REPUBLICANS ARE THE SAME!!!!!!!

    RON PAUL 2012

  • Sun Tzu, in the Art of War, describes going after your opponents weakness and avoid confronting their strengths.

I always thought America was morally just for not allowing torture, and respecting rights of the individual. It looks like America is kicking its own ass.

    :P

  • Russ Feingold for President? I think so.

  • Republicunts turning the U.S Empire into a police state? Wow, conservatives only have one mission in life: To reinstate white supremacist police states of old.

Damn, the U.S has been a functioning police state since the reconstruction era with it's witchhunts, persecution, apartheid etc.

  • In secret the GOP says it's okay he's one of us, when talking about Obama.

  • Cenk, what's a Miranda right? You already know that a huge percentage of Americans don't even know what the cold war was, yet you use a term like Miranda warning? It's even worse for your non-American audience. Am I, a Canadian viewer, supposed to know what you are talking about? Please pay more attention to defining your terms!

  • Miranda is an Orange fruit flavoured carbonated drink.

  • All presidents are the same, just diffrent faces.

  • @trapedd Someone said, "You can elect them, but you can't select them."

  • The United States are founded on the principle of strictly adhering to a system of thoughtful laws... If the federal government doesn't want to follow their own rules... Why should I? Why should anyone?

  • Don't expect my vote next year, Obama.

  • The police are armed and retarded they all are overpayed under worked and most of them are fat so fat that they cannot do their jobs so all they got to resort to is brutality or to shoot you becase after 1 minute of work they are exhausted as hell they will shoot you and put that back up gun in your hand. It is obvious that the police are the enemy of the people they are all armed and retarded and overplay they will do any thing to keep thir job even kill you police armed and retarded

  • Obama = 2nd worst President in History.

  • @nsx1com he still has time to move up to #1 worst President. I believe he will have no problem achieving that status.

  • I don't know about you guys, but I'm a fan of real, groundbreaking journalism.

  • There are no democrats or republicans, just US government

  • Obama is a Republican, they snuck his ass in...

  • ANY ELECTED OFFICIAL THAT BEHAVES IN THE MANNER THAT IS REPUGNENT TO THE CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES REPUBLIC IS GUILTY OF CAPITAL FELONY TREASON. NO EXCEPTIONS.. Emergency does not void the articles of the Constitution. Maurbury v Madison establishes the constitution as the SUPREME law of the land.

  • Cenk I think its safe to say Obama isn't folding to republican pressure anymore. His actions are his agenda. There is an obvious pattern, where scapegoating procedural processes forces Obama to fold under pressure. Would I be blind to say, the scapegoating is the process to which Obama gets an objectionable agenda is passed? I voted for Obama, I am sorry I did. (Doesn't mean I am converting to the republicans or the tea party.)

  • I wish Obama would do an Executive Order on his own pussiness!

  • Cenk just get your Obama kneepads out and get it over with

  • Obama is not a democrat, he is a corpo-rat.

  • In the words of Paul Harvey: Mr. President I love you but you are wrong

  • When you sacrifice your freedom for your security you lose both. Benjamin Franklin, (Maybe)

  • @Richardisdorky "They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety."

  • @uditchow Yeah that's how it went. I like many others have misquoted him. Thank you.

  • You think any other president would have been better?

Come on Cenk, the office was put up for sale!

The president isn't the problem, the office itself is the problem. We can't eve get Americans to vote, and the ones that do vote, don't bother learning the issues, or voting record of the candidates running.

  • Executive orders are unconstitutional in my opinion.

  • Giant Douche for president 2012!

  • Obama = a third term for Bush

  • This guy got a peace prize. A fucking peace prize.

  • @RedGaribaldi I wonder who paid them?

  • @RedGaribaldi About as legit as the Oscars

  • Democrats do not "buckle", they are complicit. Two factions of the same party.

  • @BOZ11 I was never a big fan of parties

  • @BOZ11 I get trolled everytime I point that out usually when Uyghur is trying to deflect the blame from Obama on his own exec. orders by saying it was the republicans. who made him do it.I think its because hes in MSNBC now which got a bailout through GE capital from Obama's regime even though it didn't qualify as a bank .In one video about Matt "deregulation did it" Damon he says out loud to not vote for anyone else as his is only slight criticism and Obama is the only option.

  • CENK! Wake up the truth is HITTING YOU IN THE FACE.

    There are no Republicans.

    There are no Democrats.

    There are not 2 parties.

There is ONE criminal organization with EVERY candidate eliminated who will not follow the single orders of the BANKSTERS and ARMS DEALERS who control it all.

Wake up - Obama, Bush, Clinton, Nixon, all the way back to the assassination of Kennedy - every last one of them is a SINGLE PARTY PRE-SELECTED CANDIDATE.

  • Don't you realize that when we send service personnel into combat areas and they are fighting the enemy.... the captured enemy is classified as a prisoner of war if he is in a uniform and representing a nation-state, or an independent fighter not in uniform representing a political group is classified an enemy combatant... In either case US soldiers or CIA operatives HAVE NEVER BEEN and ARE NOT NOW required to render miranda rights. WWII would have been much longer if we had to mirandize.

  • Your going to be a wizard in Oz Barry.

  • ~• Cenk 4 PRESiDENT •~

    Obama is a bushMAN.

    Fooled U once...

    Will U B fooled again??

    ~•~

  • @NIKKElsix It's too bad your spam-looking garbage will never happen, as he's a citizen. I think Cenk can do a lot of good as an anchor on MSNBC.

  • tr-tri-TRIPLE FOLD

  • Never was a fan of Bush, but the battle for worst president is still in a dead heat...Obama or Carter!

  • @stetsonwalker bush is worse. Come on, not even a question

  • @blackattack100 No way, the worst are in history going to be Carter and Obama, who gets the prize is yet to be determined!

  • The Corporations and the rich are running the U.S. period. Makes me want to sing --

Ima tell you, like you told me, cash rules everything around me - sing Dolla Dolla Bill yall.

  • uncle O

    must go

  • so im wondering, for these double standards that obama keeps doing, will he get elected again or will we just have a new democratic president. i know for a fact we wont have a republican president next

  • @mishmishthe1 Don't be so sure.

  • Fuck em. If they are trying to blow people up, fuck their Miranda Rights! I got their Miranda Rights RIGHT FUCKIN HERE BUDDY! ~LOADS SHOTGUN!~

  • @RAMKING61 Barry called the Constitution a charter of negative liberties. He hates the Constitution because it limits the power of government. Barry loves government - he would ideally like a totalitarian state in which he has all pwoer and we have none - like N Korea or Cuba.

It makes me sick that this piece of trash is in our White House. I hope someday he goes to prison.

  • I wonder if you all realize that most of the time the Police really DON'T have to read you your Miranda rights.

  • I think I know what's going on: Obama is starting the policies he always wanted all along, or the policies he always wanted after he realized that he was president.

  • The point the republicans were making was "US citizens are the only ones that are guaranteed miranda". I don't see how that's wrong. Should we allow non citizens to vote? Oh I think that we already do. That's what the Democrats and more and more Republicans depend on to get re-elected. Non citizens are not protected by the constitution Cenk you TOOL!

  • @SrfCldWtr Yes they are.

So foreigners don't have a right to free speech?

They don't have a right to a speedy trial if accused of a crime?

They don't have any legal protections?

    REALLY!?

Are you one of the people that got a degree in law by sending in box tops?

  • The point the republicans were making was "US citizens are the only ones that are guaranteed miranda". I don't see how that's wrong. Should we allow non citizens to vote? Oh I think that we already do. That's what the Democrats and more and more Republicans depend on to get re-elected.

  • obama sucks. Liberals are pussies. Lets make 2012 an election we'll never forget!!

  • Most disappointing president ever.

  • How is he even better than Bush when Bush is straight up telling you what he's going to do and his intentions? He's worse than Bush because he's hiding behind the democratic party, a nobel peace prize and a nation of us african americans who don't see how destructive he is to our civil liberties. I hope we wake up before he does any more damage. These mega monopolies are consolidating power and trying to pass legislation to get rid of free speech, the internet, collective bargaining, et al.

  • @dtrain138 We just need to s

  • @dtrain138 You will learn to accept and love the removal of your rights.

  • I hate Obama. He needs to leave office.

  • @Aarixan I'm a victim of electrical harassment/targeted citizen so look it up before questioning any further. This is an internet age and peoples privacy are violated just about everyday. This isn't a football team of who you favor more and these are some pretty over the top allegations bring it to the attention of the people are key. It wont hurt me so until I get a direct response, I'm willing to put money on the fact that the individuals Ive pointed out are my assailants. Believe what U like

  • @Aarixan Its always easy to call it bulllshit when one is on the outside looking in friend. Until you've actually experience said situation first hand then maybe we can talk but until then you are entitled to your opinions of my comments but these posting are for their eyes only and those who have come across a similar situation. My agenda is get their attentions...call it a direct attack but I have nothing to lose since I haven't given out identity which is what is being questioned.

  • @nilbud Why am I a monster?

  • It's a normal thing. It's a lesson we learn from history. The more security that a people wish to have, then the more freedoms and rights they must therefore surrender to the state. Sad, but true.

  • What is Obama meant to be "folding"? He works for the same paymasters as the Republicans. You can vote for and support progressives as much as you like but you're only chasing your tail. The progressive ideal has failed in the US, From Adlai Stevenson to George McGovern to Al Gore the record speaks for itself. The electorate were enthusiastic for McCarthyism, Nixon, Reagan & the Bushes. My advice would be to go somewhere where you can actually make a difference.

  • President Obama (R)

  • Fucking pathetic

  • i just plain dont like america...

  • It will NEVER matter who is in public offices, because the corporations own ALL of them. Money rules everything in the US.

  • The first thing that went through my mind when Cenk was explaining the exception to giving Miranda warnings and the bullshit excuse the Obama administration is using was isn't that illegal? It's like the government doesn't have to follow the law anymore but if you're poor, black and got caught with a joint they crush you in court.

  • Once again, Ron Paul.

  • Ever since Kennedy was killed we've had nothing but the worst presidents. They're all criminals. If they're not fighting the FED then they're working for them, not the citizens.

  • Obama's a regressive retard. Fuck the fucker.

  • Wake the fuck up people: Republicans and Democrats are NO different when it comes to foreign policy or understanding natural rights. They don't give a FLYING FUCK

  • We need a 3rd Party that has Strong Democratic Views and doesn't bow down to the Republicans and is for the other 98% of US. especially those making less than $100.000 a Year.....!

  • We need a revolution!

  • Obama is nothing more than a black-faced (Democratic) clown at the same old (Republican) circus.

  • Most democrats are not progressive, this is the main problem with the democratic party. Moderates, bluedogs, conservative democrats need to be weeded out or the progressives need to start their own party. It would just be better to push a real progressive presidential candidate through the primaries to beat whatever goofball republican wins, to admit Obama is a failure and fraud and to show that the democratic party isn't fully corrupted yet. An Obama 2nd term is just as bad as a GOP win.

  • He's brighter than GW Bush- but so is my pet spider.

  • That's just unacceptable! Now it turns out the government can take any American citizen who they think might be a terrorist, and strip them of all their rights, with no trial, and do whatever they want with them (isolation, torture, etc.) for as long as they want. Isn't the government supposed to be there to protect our rights? We just cannot take that. Impeach Obama!

  • Obama is a sucker. Lost my vote.

  • @Kordazone510 but he is still better than a republican!

  • @grnbbllntrck Some republicans, sure, but he's not better than them in general, no. He fits right in with the party, the only reason he can't be part of it is he's black and has a muslim name so he would never get elected by right wingers.

  • another premature hissyfit from this money hungry pseudo-intellectual... I'm an ex TYTer who saw the light a few years ago lol y'all lefty sheep are embarrassing to the moderate left.

  • @wkcr I can tell thats a lie.

If you were a ture "lefty" you would know we're not the sheep, we make our own decisions based upon the logic of the situation. Unlike the right-wing we don't have an extremist party i.e Tea Party.

  • @wkcr wtf are you talking about!

  • Somebody had better beat this cowardly DINO in the primaries.

  • Wait..... scene when can the President make Law's ........ Executive Order are not Law's

  • I wish you'd stop claiming he's better than Bush... he's clearly not.

  • Why did Obama cave to Republican pressure? Because that's what he always does. He's not a liberal, or even a moderate. Never was. See him for the extremist he is. He's a terrible President.

  • Executive Orders are themselves wholly Un-Constitutional. There is no authority for any such thing:

"ALL legislative Powers herein granted shall be vested in a Congress of the United States, which shall consist of a Senate and House of Representatives."

It is the very first Article.

  • I'm really looking forward to becoming Canadian.

  • This is getting predictable... If I where Obama I'd mess with them so much saying the opposite of what I really wanna do haha.

  • You guys have been setup... these tyrannical things can and will be used against the folks on the left side of things. Soon RNC will get the white house back and Obama will gift them a set tools that totally have bypassed the Judciary and Congress into on giant executive power. Able to do anything they want reguardless of rights.

  • Is this the law that allows you wear fruit on your head? Maybe I'm confusing that with the Carmen Miranda law.

  • Damn right. He's not progressive at all!! AND he has the audacity to use executive order for miranda rights after some republicans and democrats rejected it but doesn't touch campaign finance reform AT ALL!! If we vote him in again, we deserve what we get!!

  • @nutblast23 Lol! Yeah go ahead and vote for the republican candidate, you'll def get a real progressive then.

  • @nutblast23 Not all "progress" is good. Progressives typically while in a position of power give MORE power to government over people. It comes through regulation (not all regulation is for good) through new laws that come under the guise of "progress" For instance Obamacare which gives the Gov. power to fine those who choose not to own healthcare. Also "progress" comes through all kinds of different tax's and charges which gives the Government power over your life energy (time/funds)...

  • @toneo2001 That may be your own definition of "progressive." The same argument can be made about "conservatives." They say they want to be fiscally conservative but they have no problem giving tax cuts to people who not only don't need them, but haven't earned them. They have no probem cutting education or domestic programs but give all the breaks they can to the rich.

  • @toneo2001 My other question to you is do you think that corporations should control the country? When their only goal is "the bottom line?" You can't have a nation without taxes so we need to stop making all taxes a heinous thing. Each side has their extreme government types and private sector minions. Any extreme is not good and we need to stop worrying about taxes when taxes are lowest than they've been in decades! Is it really creating jobs? Is it really helping our economy?

  • @toneo2001 "Obamacare" as you call it helps the healthcare industry more than it does regular people because of the mandate. Also, there is nothing to keep healthcare costs down so the truth is Obama did that because it was landmark legislation that passed. Something to help his "legacy"

  • For fuck sake Cenk, he didn't fold, this is what he wants!!! Don't start again with the Obama is weak bullshit. He wants you to think his passes are being intercepted, but they're not... he's PASSING the fucking ball to the other team cos he's getting paid!! And when he says "ah would you look at that, they scored again", you're believing him! -.- Every time I think you understand this you go back to the Obama-is-politically-inept bullshit. He's not stupid.

    HE'S DOING IT ON PURPOSE!

  • @coolman9999uk

Seriously, that makes sense. There is no way that his ineptitude can be this massive. Especially with the Miranda Warning, he didn't have to cave and found a way to cave anyway!

  • @coolman9999uk There are no idiots in the talking heads arena, there are only people with hidden agendas.

Cenk is the Steven Segal of the talking heads. He helps to turn deadly political head on collisions into manageable glancing blows.

  • this is a sign of collapse. the rise of the security apparatus

  • fun with words "enemy combatant"- we say something and it goes

  • wow fuck this country

  • 1, Saboutours are unlawful combatants out of uniform are to be shot. Sumarly executed on the spot. 2, Since when do non citizens deserve consitutional rights? 3, Why do jihadists who have pleged to destroy us deserve anything but death? 4, Brigands foreign-born or otherwise are unlawful combatants and deserve death. 5, Prisoners of war are to be detained for the duration of the war. Even if that war has been rageing for 1400 years, as in jihad.

  • @Hughganaught I partly agree, constitutional rights are not to be given. However, the geneva convention applies, which was and is ignored from the United States.

  • @ReezeGoingSenseless Yes the Geneva convention has been ignored at our convience and our pearl. So go back to the drawing board and determine what is what. However, lawless brigands must be dealt with accordint go international law.

  • How is removing rights of anyone, even terrorists, a good thing? Removing rights (IMO) can only lead to abuses of power.

  • @bersaba

The interesting thing is that, at least according to the Geneva Convention and the Constitution of the United States, the US is not obligated to acknowledge the rights of any non-citizen, non-uniformed combatants.

  • @bersaba when the government thinks they can take away rights of people and get away with it, then the government is too big,..."A govt big enough to give you everything you want is also big enough to take away everything you have." ~ Barry Goldwater

  • @bersaba It's not. One man's terrorist is the next man's freedom fighter. It all depends on which side is right side up.

  • That lightswitch is super chill.

  • Bush, Obama, or whoever else, it doesnt matter. Its just a different face on the same policy. Its just that simple.

  • You'll never get a truely liberal or conservative president, they may campaign with the most extreme of positions but as soon as anyone wins the office they will "settle" down and adhere to the change nothing, advance nothing, improve nothing status quo. I'm not so cynical as to say the presidency is bought and paid for by special interests, but I will say they have undue levels of power and access and it shows.

  • I'm a democrat. Obama is going into Libya for no reason other than OIL! Otherwise he would be going into Sudan and Rwanda, but since there is no oil we dont. All of you war cheerleaders better get used to the idea of being forced through a draft to put your money where your mouth is i fthis course continues. Cenk, you're still young enough to be drafted too. I bet all of the sideline war cheerleaders would turn into doves the day they had to pick up a rifle

  • @snappa52 I don't think anyone is 'cheerleading' and promoting just for amusement. Jackass.

  • @restlesspride666 if you think it's a worthy cause you should enlist or get commissioned, otherwise you're cheerleading. in other words, it makes your word look like shit. If the cause isnt compelling enough for you to fight in, no one should.

  • Some one has to challenge Barack Obama in the primary. He is caving to the right !!
