The exhaust was a custom 3" with a N1 muffler. Car was making around 230-240whp on stock block at the time. It now makes 430whp on a built motor.

i own a exactly like prelude only i havent tuned it. anyone that diss the 2.2 vti must be crazy. it handles like a dream. 200 bhp with MINOR adjustments. front and rearwheel turning. its like a chewing gum on the road. and when the engine hits 5000, ure outta there. i bought a little black box 4 mine that allows me to adjust when the v-tec kicks in.. nobody laughs when i push the pedal to the metal. wolf in sheeps clothes;) i love my honda prelude. iamsam! u can go shit a brick u gnathead.

NASA has an entire challenge devoted to Hondas and they make really good time on the track too, even compared to the stock class v8 cars (camaros, mustangs). Hondas are fast, you just have to put it in perspective and not expect them to be the fastest straight line cars. Honda has a different philosophy than that.

Look at the NASA 2007 championship results (which I was at BTW) at the nasachampionships website. Look at the honda challenge results (group C) you will see that the good drivers average between 1:35 and 1:40 around the track. Now look at group A (which has many of the mustangs) and note that the BEST time is no less than 1:40. The hondas only have I/H/E and suspension work as well...stock motors. Please research before bashing hondas like the typical ignorant youtube commenter.

No the mustangs were not stock. They are allowed intake, exhaust, and suspension just like the hondas are. The highest HP the SVO mustang ever had was 200 in 1986 (and that is turbocharged). A stock H22 makes 200 HP N/A. Anyway, no need to argue about this here and clutter up this guy's video.

To the OP, nice prelude and I love the sound. Not raspy at all for a 3" exhaust...I bet the turbo helps with that.
