i have the quickfire and i hate it......its huge! and the touchscreen works like crap! and also its a music phone....and yet has no place to insert headphones
The Samsung Propel sucks monkey balls. It lags like hell, you can barely type a text message on it. Even dialing numbers causes the GUI to lag and cache up 4 or 5 numbers before displaying them.

@treckoreborn No it's not, And it's a fact. the Quickfire was so bad, they completely stopped selling them, not just the fact that the plug over-heated and caught on fire in some homes, but the fact that the touch screen is bad, very slow, bad battery, ect. I'm a glad owner of an iPhone now.

Get one, they're pretty good. They WERE recalled, but they fixed the problems they had (could catch fire, insensitive touch screen). But after they re-released it after they fixed the problems, it hardly ever freezes/lags, the touch screen works really great 98% of the time and it's such a great phone. Although if you get it and want to use internet, go to opera(dot)com on the phone and download opera web browser for it, it works much better than the standard one.
I need a better texting phone i got over 24000 texts... I don't know how it happened.. that was with my blackberry lol. now i have the eternity and i want a phone with buttons now ): i miss them

quickfire owns,the touchscreen had circles which quite reminded me of the iphone...and had rlly cool sounds and stuff and the texting was amazing looks like a sidekick in my opinion cheaper version but i loved it!
I have had a propel for about 6 months. The charging port is trashed right now. ITs great for texting, nice entry level text phone. Everything else on it is pretty basic. Its not a bad phone at all, the battery is about 5 hours worth of use. I ordered a quickfire as the replacement so we will see what happens in the next six months. I am 6000+ text messager a month so I am hoping the quickfire will work as well as I hope it will.

there were some problems with the old charger getting too hot and burning.. i believed they have fixed that.. i would take te lg xenon, because it has nicer colors and is a littke more sleek.
i saw that the quickfire is back up on the att site..is it fixed? Because i heard it had a lot of problems and it came back cheaper...would you prefer the lg xenon or quickfire?
i have the quickfire and i got pissed cuz the xenon came out a day later. but i found out that the xenon sucks. The touch screen sucks and so does the keyboard. Get the quickfire its much better. but att came out with the samsung impression, which i tested and is great. if you can get the samsung impression, its much better. but if not, the quickfire. the xenon sucks!!!! hope i helped.

Between those two the propel, the quickfire has received recalls and its bulky. There are other newer texting phones out like the LG Neon.

Yes! The old quickfires SUCKED! Then after it got recalled they remade it, they fixed all the bugs, and the touch screen works WAY better now!
