1941 was not all that long ago. That Stearman you're flying in was a trainer for the Army Air Corps - the pilots who learned on those biplanes went on to fly P51's and Corsairs in the war.

What a great adventure. I have taken a flight on the WWII era B-24 Liberator owned by the Collings Foundation and a WWII era C-45 Expeditor out of Wichita, KS, but haven't had the pleasure of riding in a vintage open cockpit aircraft like this one. I'm envious!!!
