its unnessesery... it wont sire up.. y do i need 2 displays to watch tv and browse internet when i can just do split screen with windows 7 on same 1 display. the line that crosses these 2 displays its annoying. and for persons that really likes to use 2 or more displays, then they connect them as externals.

If you have a multi-monitor system like I do, you learn to 'phase out' the line in between the displays.

The whole idea of 2 or more displays is to keep the original window size, but allow for more windows to be displayed. The split screen on Windows 7 cuts the window size by half, and allows for 2 windows. If you have 2 monitors, you can keep the windows size, and allow more windows.

@TheLaptopDoctor I used a netbook as my main college computer for months, 1.6ghz atom... Ran offiice with 0 problems. Only problem in office 2007 was that it didn't properly support netbook resolutions :(
