I think that these books are destroying the halo universe. Forerunners destroyed humanity and everything single thing that they ever made and DE-evolved them? bad. In the Halo games it's stated that they discovered humanity when they were creating the ark and then they built a portal linking them to it (read the terminals). This author should actually spend time playing halo before he decides to do anything with it and completely undermine everything. Good video though.

Good video but actually, it's wrong because 110 000 years ago humans had been forcibly deavoled by the forunners, and the the profet race had been, put on a planet which was maintained by the forunners to stop then uprising against then, because they lost the war, the flood is actually discovered closer to 180 000 years before halo event, but yes the humans did discover deep in space within a metor ring, but where the flood actually comes from is a complete mystery!

He shared the knowledge of the cure with the humans in the last days of the Human-Forerunner War, and passed it on to some of the San 'Shyuum Elders. But the Master Builder, in rage after the elder's wouldn't give him the information, activated a halo installation to wipe out the San 'Shyuum.

@TheViewer540 No humans are forerunners where made by the same species the precursors and had similar genes.But the two species hated each other wen't to war and the forerunners won and exiled all remaining humans to earth.Then the forerunners realised the mistake they made humans where only invading to escape the flood so the forerunners knowing they where doomed choose humans as their successors not because they liked them but because they had no other choice.

This means humans actually existed before the first human trace lol for me this is badly explained (not of you 343TheSentient) but for all Bungie and 343. They should create a more realistic stuff, not like 100% impossible. For example the producers of Halo never showed you guys the remaining Spartan II program alive, in fact John wasn't the last spartan alive but a remaining of like 5 or 6 spartans.

I don't understand. I always thought that the Forerunners were humans. And I think that I have read about Flood's origin that Forerunners originally found it and used it to genetically breed their pets. I took the fact that Forerunners were humans for granted. Prophets were always keeping this secret from other Covenant (Truth and Johnson scene). Why else would monitors refer humans as reclaimers and why would Spark tell Chief, that he is Forerunner? Or were both humans and Forerunners "humans"?

@343TheSentient by humans you mean forerunners right? I can compare Halo to the show Ancient Aliens by the fact of beings coming before us and helped guide our society. Ark of the Covenant also. Simply we are being guided by a forerunner type race basically which are aliens. And those aliens are our Gods since they offered us guidance. But considering the overview of that story about the forerunners and realistic human history. Nice work, but facts arent right, San'Shyuum wrote somekind of treaty whit forerunners, which made truce between them if San'Shyuum abbandom humans during final siege which didnt happen on human capita, but on planet where they found last precursor. And it was the human empire who destroy all data and flood.

Or so I understand after listening to Halo: Cryptum audio book, I guess I could be wrong and if I am, my mistake.

But you should try to fix your audio and subtitles a little.
