I just got this controller, and I feel that it is of rather good quality. NOT PRO LEVEL. However, I produce a live webcast where for the last four days I took this controller apart, and show people just what makes it tick. I am impressed with the actual controller.

Now, I am sure people kick tail using Mixvibes software. So do not take this as I hate them. For my use I found the included software to be like the DUPLO blocks of DJ software.

@reggaetonpimp i know im 6 months late on this comment, but i've had this for a while [im RapDroid, this is my new account for beats]....it's complete shit.

the main complaint i have is that its touch-sensitive. meaning when you take your hand off, it plays at full speed instead of acting like a real record..if they fixed that, itd probably be worth it.

i also have some issues with the crossfader but whatever..

probably gonna sell it soon. complete waste of money imo..

@ICanHasBeats Thanks, I completely agree the software even froze my computer for the first time when i opened it, and it has frozen my computer a couple times ever since, I haven't used it in months, its just sitting under my bed. Anyone who is considering buying it. DON'T. Trust me YOU WILL REGRET it!

The jogs scratch performance on this unit is amazingly great!

I highly recommend this unit for learning the basics of mixing/scratching.

He talks slow. The thing is large compared to other DJ Consoles. And there's a little kid sitting there playing with it. Plus the software features large graphics.

I'm getting the message that this is supposed to say "Hey, idiots, you can be DJs too!

That said, I'm kinda ashamed to be saying I'll probably get this. I wanna be a scratch DJ, I don't wanna deal with the small jog wheels most consoles have or the price actual turntables carry. :(.

It does LOOK decent, however, no this is really the most informative out of the... three videos that exist. And seeing as it's only a $40 step up to the Ion iCue, with more functions and, IMO, better software, I'm not sure how great this thing really is. Could be just another crap product trying to cash in on DJ Hero's money. But I'm kinda doubtful of that, too.

Love the comment, and your right on the mark. When you get this controller, Do not bother even installing the Mixvibes software. Just use Virtual DJ and you might find this controller more able to perform than you first thought.

It is a Numark entry level product, and thus is not made that badly. I do a live show where I take this thing apart, talk about how it works, and provide ideas on what can be done to make it more pro like, rather than toy like.

I've purchased the block rocker and the portable dj system and I'm very satisified with them. Once I save up to move past cds and onto a laptop, ion will definitly be my next choice.
