Millie, you look like my Pit & Lab mix Bo Bo, he's about 9 or 10 yrs old now and was a rescue from our local Humane Society. I love their new lease on life. Shadow was like, "ok girl, i'm glad to see you too, but the boys are here, u gonna make me look bad..." and Millie was like "I don't care, just kiss me and play with me you fool!!"

Im a shelter volunteer and watched the rescue video before this one. Shadow was amazing that he allowed you to get so close and accept your help. Thank YOU and your helpers for capturing these two and giving them another chance. Very glad to hear their adopted, wonderful dogs, excellent work guys!

Oh, how sweet is Millie? You could tell how much she loved Shadow in the rescue video when she was kissing him and snuggling with him. And then she was SO excited to see him here. This is just amazing. Dogs are amazing. What YOU and your friends do for dogs is absolutely amazing. I've already made a small donation and I'll continue to donate a little at a time as I can. OH MY! What a wonderful, happy and grateful girl Millie is. She was SO happy to see Shadow again. There is a saying that people that serve together in a war have a special bond. I believe there was something very similar with Millie and Shadow. I so wish I could have taken Millie in. She reminds me so much of the Bulldog I rescued from near death years ago. She gave me four wonderful, love-filled years. Thank you so much for saving Millie and sharing this video of her happy.

I am glad to see the update, but annoyed that you did not let Shadow off of his leash for the reunion. There is a time for training, and a dog park is a time for play. Keep up the good work. I always enjoy these videos.

@remo135 One would have to wonder why Shadow was on a martingale, a choke collar and a flat collar with two leads. Yes I agree with you that this was a fantastic time to give Shadow a chance to run and play "like a dog" without the humans hanging all over them.

Millie and Shadow's rescue video made me cry a lot. The bond these two have and the suffering they have fought through because of our own irresponsible and careless actions. Millie is like a completely different dog. Her true self gets to shine through and you can tell she is eternally grateful to the ones who saved her. Despite her horrific past, she still has faith in humans. A dog is all the greatest qualities of man on four legs =)

@kailuagirl87, Thank you for your comment and I agree with you. I am sure if Millie, Shadow, Beauty and many dogs can say, they would say how grateful they have for the one who rescused them. I rescused about 22 dogs and 8 cats already. Dogs and cats are lovely and they are very smart if we just giving them a chance. Thank you Eldad75 for your good work to the animals.
