According to this vid, 1 set training includes 3 acts- pullups, pushups and squats. But how many sets will be up the par within the 5 minutes? This is what I'm concerned. Can anybody help? Thank you first.
@eminemxu27 It depends on what your vision of par is. I can get around 26 in 20 min, so probably around 7-9 in the first 5 minutes. I die down a lot at the end.
this is why i hate crossfit. It means good and has alot to be a great program but, seems coaches allow form to go for faster time. And it is their job to make sure their clients do them proper so they dont hurt themselves!!

these guys aren't doing proper cross fit pull-ups, push-ups, and squats. they should be going "chest to bar" on the pull-ups, not just their chin, and they should be going chest to ground and lock out their elbows on the push-ups. for the squats they just need to lock out their knees.
@bott14 chest to bar pullups aren't generally crossfit standard - see the qualifying regionals for crossfit games 2011 for example. Regional Workout 4 contains "ordinary" chin to bar pullups. Chest to bar was used in the games and quite a few seasoned crossfitters weren't too well prepared for it - which was the point.
For the pushups and squats, I agree with you, although I would label lockout knees as completely open hips instead
@pwfarrell one round per minute would be insane! if you can keep up with that pace then you're in better shape that most people at my cross fit gym haha
I've been doing this daily (monday-saturday) for a month and I added 5 dips to it cause I got a dips stand lol in 20 minutes now I got 25 rounds with 4 Pullups completed. I did get Bigger but I think thats cause I eat 3 high protein meals a day and 3 protein shakes a day so it works for me But if I'm sore I don't train I just eat health food and drink water the next day to replenish my muscles
@jaxblade07 I can almost guarantee that you're pooping out your protein shakes. If you're eating a proper day's worth of food, then you really should only have to take 1 shake. The rest of it will most likely just end up in the toilet =/. Not trying to troll you at all, just letting you know dude!
@saunjuan2 just keep doing it, you improve surprisingly quickly, i know people who do 6-8 their first time and within a week or two they are putting out 15+ rounds
my first time doin this workout was atuaLLy a coupLe of days ago and i got 28 in 20 minutes. this workout is tough and fun. im tryna make it somewhere between 35-45 in 20. dat wud be fukkn crazy!

@eminemxu27 I try do it with no rest between each set. In the beginning its not that hard, but when doing sets 17+ you gotta take at least 15 seconds

@GlueTaster His squats are too low already, knees should not pass the toes, in fact where he is going wrong is in not straightening his legs enough.
