Ah the disembodied head, good scare, an absolute cake to fight though. I was expecting a freaken showdown when I first ran into it, considering I was having my ass handed to me in the previous night, then my first photo nearly killed it, I was like "seriously?" Then I killed it and moved on, turns out the whole last night is easy compared with the rest of the game. If you can make it past the third night, you've basically won.

I have a question about this armoured warrior chap... if he only appears in fatal mode, does that mean you have to complete nightmare and then fatal in order to complete your spirit list? And this is the only way to get the "zero" power-up?

I just finished the game for the first time yesterday. Kinda tempted to play through again, just not sure I'm up to it ;p

No. The warrior ghost in this vid is from a previous time. He fell in love with a Rope Shrine Maiden (decades before Kirie). He tried to rescue her, failed and committed ritual suicide.

The Himuro Family Master had Kirie's lover killed. I don't know if he did it himself, or had someone else do it. The man who hid the body (may have killed him, I'm not sure) was also killed (becomes 'Burdened Man' see 10:08). He was in love with Kirie too!! It's a ghost soap opera!

How to tell when there is a ghost that fights you? You will know at times when the screen blinks for split second which means there is a attacking ghost but don't get fooled when you open doors because it does that too.

No. This game (Fatal Frame) is on more than one system; PS2 and Xbox. They both have the same storyline, and they both finish after the Final Night.

This one just has some added features, like secret ghosts, the hidden boss, and Fatal Mode difficulty.

They're the same game, just different.
