  • I like how the cop says HE'S GONE!

  • STILL GOIN BABY!

  • did anyone even bother to realize how the driver's car was already past the white line. it was just a little to close to the road and the truck pretty much took over the whole shoulder up ahead.

  • 0:13 "His gone..." "Umm-uh."

  • Entirely the truckers fault. The car was close but he was on the right hand side of the fog line. Patrol cars are lit up like xmas trees when they pull someone over and the trucker sits high in the cab therefore giving him a better view of the road ahead. If he was paying attention he would have had plenty of time to take evasive action. Looks like he aimed for the dude. Better yet, his crack ran out and he dozed off. I drive truck but I hope they throw the fucking book at him.

  • @peetee1000 I think officers who pull people over on the highway for minor traffic violations, causing high risk situations that lead up to events like this should be prosecuted. There is no reason to pull over a person for speeding, not using a signal, or anything else that does not put human life in direct threat; on a busy highway. It is a recipe for disaster and it happens all the time.

  • @dlstb The trooper had to have had his flashing lights on just to pull the car over. The trucker had plenty of warning and time to move to the left. I drive truck and you can see a hell of a lot better than someone in a car. Looks like the trucker was distracted ( his blunt probably fell under the seat) or he just plain dozed off. I'll agree that the trooper should have gotten on his P.A. and instructed the car to pull off into the gas station or move further to the right but hindsight is 20/20.

  • @peetee1000 I don't absolve the murderer who ran this individual over of any wrong doing. BUT, I am claiming that police on our highways cause inattentive driving and increase the number of accidents on the road. Also, what is the probability that a person will pull off to the shoulder on an interstate unless a cop makes them? Police should not be on our roads unless they are called out by a concerned citizen who witnesses a vehicle endangering lives. Their mere presence endanges lives.

  • @dlstb Hell, I'm all for it. Although could you imagine the chaos on the highways if everybody knew their were no cops around? Granted, their out there to generate a lot of revenue thru citations but they do perform a service to the motorists. You say they should be called out when a vehicle endangers lives well I would think by the time somebody calls the cops and they respond this dude is long gone. There's got to be some presence of authority on the roads or the ugly side of human nature wins

  • @peetee1000 You say we shouldn't take cops off the highway because by the time they get there, the criminal is already long gone. So should we then put a cop in every business and residnece of tax paying citizens? The vast majority of crimes are committed when no cop is around and by the time one shows up, the evil doer is long gone. And these are also the crimes committed by violent offenders who steal, rape, and murder people. The avg. driver isn't trying to do any of those things.

  • @peetee1000 Do you really expect me to believe that most people on the road would drive like maniacs without police physically on the road? Most people don't want to end up in an accident or die, so most people will travel the speed that they are comfortable with and feel safe at. I'm sure you'd have some idiot who dodges in and out of traffic nearly scraping his bumper on other cars, but that happens now. Also, people won't be slamming on their brakes for cop cars all the time, so net positive.

  • @dlstb As I stated before, I think the highways would be more chaotic than they are now. Hell, people are driving 80-90mph sometimes even 100+ as a rule now. They may feel comfortable at that speed but I don't. You would think that nobody wants to be in a wreck but looking at how some people drive you wouldn't know it and this is with cops on the road. I'd hate to see it if they weren't around. I guess we agree to disagree.

  • @peetee1000 I feel entirely safe when I drive 80-90 mph. If you don't feel safe driving that fast then don't drive that fast. And if you don't feel safe around people who drive that fast, then drive in the slow lane or off the highway. Why should you be able to limit how fast I can drive based on how safe you "feel"? BTW, how often have you seen an officer driving down the highway at 90 plus without lights swerving in and out of traffic to catch up to a guy running 10 over? I've seen it alot.

  • @dlstb This isn't the discussion about cops on the road but since you brought it up. You say you feel safe driving 80-90mph. Well, that's good. The faster you go the less reaction time you have in case something happens (tire blowout, somebody cuts in front of you, etc.) When something does happen and there's a wreck because you were driving to fast for the conditions, other innocent drivers are usually involved...that could be me. So because of people like you I say we need even more cops.

  • @peetee1000 Figure this into your equations smart ass. If the average speed of drivers on a highway goes from 60 to 90. That means that for every mile of road there are on average 1/3 less cars because the flow rate is so much higher. With less traffic congestion you have longer sight lines and more room for error and correction than a packed highway traveling at any speed. Combine this with the fact that all interstates are designed to be traveled safely at 100mph+, and I say you lose.

  • @peetee1000 Also, if your car suffers a blowout and it wasn't from you hitting something, you need to start doing some vehicle maintenance. I don't know about you, but I actually care if my car is safe enough to drive. Do you regularly check your lights, tires, ball joints etc.? Cause I do. Do you tell other drivers (or attempt to) that they have a safety problem with their car? I do. We apparently just have different opinions of safe. So I say that you decide what is safe for you and you alone.

  • @dlstb Last time. I don't give a shit how well you maintain your car. This isn't a matter of maintenance...shit happens!!! If you were going so fast that you couldn't react in time when it does happen, then you get what you deserve. Unfortunatley, jerks like you get other innocent people involved most of the time. C-ya

  • @peetee1000 You are conflating driving fast with driving negligently. You can drive fast just as safely as you drive slow if you pay attention to the road in front of you (hindered by cop activity) and maintain decent following distances and clearances. I've seen more slow drivers not paying attention hurt people than fast drivers who don't talk on their phone and pay full attention to getting from point A to point B. You sound like a child. I just want you to know that.

  • This is further proof that cops cause more distracted and dangerous driving situations than anything else. To think, someone is probably dead because a cop tried to stop them on a highway for traveling faster than they are "supposed" to. Every traffic cop's car causes a 1/4 mile radius of decreased attenion to driving and an increase in traffic collisions. That's why they always capture the craziest crashes on their dash cams.

  • @dlstb Not to mention the fact that they back up traffic, causing further congestion and increased probability of accidents and death.

  • @dlstb - Driver was probably pulled over for going too slow - shouldn't have been on a freeway.

  • If you get pulled over on a freeway with a speed limit of 65 mph, You have drivers hitting 80 mph on average. You do NOT even stop on the shoulder!

I would have pulled all the way into the dirt, And id still be nervous!

50/50 Here, The truckers fault for not paying attention, And the cars fault for not pulling SAFELY off the highway!

  • ''hes gone........''

  • Optimus Prime is such an asshole.

  • @madhatter0110 bro that was sooo funny lol ahahah

  • "he's gone" Please don't get over emotional or anything.

  • @PMnews1 lol that cop seem like he didnt give to shits. any normal person would be like HOLY FUCKIN SHIT

  • @lilgangsta123321 Most cops don't give two shits about anything except maybe themselves.

  • @PMnews1 AMEN

  • That big rig hit him square in the ass. If the truck driver wasn't focusing on the car he would've probably just clipped him in the side and spun him into the dirt but he was aiming for that car and he wiped them the fuck out.

  • "*sigh*.......he's gone."

  • After two million accident free miles driven in a semi here is my take. Its the truckers fault, he should have been slowing WAAAAY down as soon as the cop's overhead lights went on, then he should have moved as far left as he could. What happened next is a classic case of "target fixation" he locked on to the car being pulled over as if it was still moving at highway speeds, look at how far onto the shoulder he is on impact. Billy big rigger strikes again

  • @gregboyds Yes, you would have atleast saw it slow down in the video, but it does not. You don't brake lights either. Stop being a typical Youtube troll who thinks he knows everything.

Search semi truck brake testing ;)

  • well the truck driver got the car off the road for him

  • "Get out of the road!" BAM *Sigh...*

  • Well at least the truck driver got that guy out of a ticket.

  • hes gone

  • lmao the cop just *sighes*, i hope all parties are okay, that looked brutal!

  • Owned.

  • Technically that car driver was past the white line and the 18wheeler is at fault.

  • Did the car driver get a ticket for failing to stop?

  • @Hedge191 Im pretty damn shure there was no car, or driver for that matter left, to ticket.

  • Well that car is going to be on that trailer like the other cars on it lol.

  • SEE YUH!!

  • ummm...

  • hells packing speed!

  • HAHAHA that was fucking awesome, STUPID FUCKING CAR!!

  • WHAT THE HELL WAS THE RIG DRIVER DOING 3/4 OF THE WAY ON THE SHOULDER???

  • he didnt even say O SHIT! he was just like "he's gone...."

  • @instigation187 lol id be like HOLY FUCK r something

  • the reason why the truck driver hit the car was not because he was part way on the road it is because the driver of the car cut off the semi driver earlier down the road thus the reason why the cop was pulling him over. the cop just decided to get vengeance

  • What happened to the car occupants?

  • The truck was clearly to the right and on the shoulder, take a good look at it again. See what i mean?

  • lol "...hes gone."

  • That'll do.

  • Did the driver of the car get killed??

  • so no ticket?

  • Look.........Over To The Right

  • why does this shit never happen in holland, we are way ahead of america with traffic i can tell you that..

  • actually that is totally the car drivers fault, yes the rig should of been slowing down but man how stupid do you have to be as to park that close to the road, I can guarantee you the cop would of made the driver pull farther off the road as it was not even safe for the officer to approach the drivers side window and talk to the driver

  • @sirkiller07 The rig went over the white line into a lane where he shouldnt be. Rig drivers fault totally.

  • why is that semi on the shoulder? that was way more stupid than the car....

  • @MrJosh112358 semi is not on shoulder he was trying to go around the cop car and his truck weaved a little which is why the cop was like GEt OFF THE Road and besides you are supposed to pull off as far as you safely can and that was nowhere near that

  • @MrJosh112358 look carfully i seen what looked like a pickup truck returning into the lane to soon in front of the rig cuting him off

  • something tells me the car driver may have possibly been a killer?

  • haha i love how the cop just sighs and is prolly thinkin "fuck not again" lol

  • Now THAT'S awesome!

  • Stop the film at 0:12. Take a good look to the left of the truck. The 4-wheeler cut the truck off and had to brake hard to not hit the car on the shoulder which had moved left back over the fog line when it stopped. The truck driver had no choice but to take out the car on the shoulder. If he had gone left, there were at least 4 other vehicles that he would've hit. I drive for a living and can tell you that I am always looking at how to take the least lives in a situation like this. Be careful.

  • i drive truck by day. and this guy was going too fast, and he was way over the white line. truckers fault.

  • I,m a truck driver it looks like the truck was going to fast also the car didnt have flashers on

  • Wtf. You guys are all stupid. The car pulled over just fine in the shoulder lane. The truck was clearly not paying a fucking tention worth a shit and somehow from all the way back started to drift right into the shoulder. In my country Canada, it's common flying fucking sense that it's entirely the truckers fault. Fuckin A.

  • people in cars cause accidents

    accidents in cars cause people

  • The truck driver didn't even stop. It looked like he kept going. You know you're driving on the road with these 80,000 pound bastards.

  • A Cop pulls a car over to fuck with them maybe they are going 56 in a 55 and they stop them and a car hits them and fucks them up no big deal. It's like you have a country full of people and they just extract some money from their customers. If we all said fuck it and left and moved to another country the Cops would come.

  • Cops set up speed traps all the time. Going to the beach and they have cars pulled off along side the road. I say hit them with the speed gun with such a device and not stop them. Just mail them the ticket. Is it more about money or safety? They could hide camera speed checking devices and mail the damn tickets.

But if a Cop asks you do you know why I stopped you just say, because you wanted to suck my cock. Don't talk nice to a fucking Cop. 50% become Cops to fuck with people.

  • truck drivers are the biggest fuck ups in america. thats what happens when you don't get a high school diploma

  • @blue200922 You sir are an ass clown.

  • @blue200922 I completely agree with you. In the past month there have been 2 MAJOR accidents as a result of tractor trailers in my area. One tractor trailer ran a red light, resulting in the death of a woman. Another tracter trailer, only a week later, crossed the median of the highway for unknown reasons and hit a 21 year old driver head on, killing him (the 21 year old) instantly.

  • @blue200922 they do make a good amount of money. You do have to have an education of some caliber to be a truck driver

  • was the car OK?

  • was the car OK?

  • haha omg. That car just went zero to 60 faster than my mustang! haha

  • It's like the truck didn't even stop. It's scary traveling on the same roads with these 80,000 pound monsters.

  • Fucking dumbass Cops pulling people over how many times in this country each year and this shit happens? When a Cop pulls you over it should be in a safe area like a turn around or way off the fucking road.

  • @9878tubeyou well....um....cops do allow you to pull off at the next exit.....it's the dumb ass drivers who fail to do it. the signal to the cops is putting your hand out the window and pointing toward the left...99% of all law enforcement understand that signal & it's intended meaning. drivers are just too stupid and panic and stop anywhere.

  • @vndrbltln Therefore he should have been driving more carefully. He could have avoided that car but instead he hit almost all the back of it.

  • @ibnekurdo

Not all truck drivers are ignorant. Some make stupid decisions when they should pull over and rest but not all truck drivers are ignorant and dont have an education. (getting a CDL licence can be a bitch especially higher classes)

And they do not drive faster when it rains. Not the drivers i know.

  • @JaiLee613

Funny thing actually. They drive a truck for their job. Most of the day. I'd consider them not just proficient drivers but full blown pros.

You'll find idiots of any kind in any given group of people, so there should be quite a bunch on the roads. After my perceptions, however, I tend to catch far more of those idiots in regular cars. Far, far more.

  • this is why i dont have white people as a close friends

  • @joemadly

this is why i dont have black people as a close friends

  • Owned!

  • Imagine that was your wife in the car with your kid in the back seat.

  • if the cop had not pulled the car over in the first place everything would be fine

  • Comment removed

  • That truck did look like he lost it. How I don't know, but it was pretty far off the road like you said..

  • @ch00bz0rzz The car was on the white line he wasn't off the road you can pause and see he was still in the flow of traffic.

  • @roaklin well whats for sure is that the wheel was very close to the line, whether it went over or not, and being one inch or what ever on the road dosen't mean he was in the flow of traffic. They make the roads much, much more wide than an inch on each side for cars to pass and you know that. Ur saying that people drive with their wheels about one inch from the line

  • @ch00bz0rzz @ch00bz0rzz Have you ever driven big rigs? I do. We need every inch & yes I see everyday people tracing the white line be it a car or 18 wheeler. Car stopped on the line and his mirror and driver side where still in the danger area. As for the truck riding the line notice the grass is swaying pretty good, he likely was being pushed by the wind making him ride the line and you can clearly see as the video plays he also couldn't move over a lane due to traffic in the lane alongside.

  • @ch00bz0rzz Rephrasing:

The car was pretty much entirely on the shoulder and look how far to the right the truck went on it too to hit the car and make it go straight forwards

  • @ch00bz0rzz and any assumptions the big rig was "aiming" for the car are ludcrious as a collision of this sort has just finished that truck driver's career as a trucker. Therefore he wouldn't have aimed for the car "just for kicks".

  • @roaklin Im very sure it was an accident, like you explained, and I'm have no intentions to be a truck driver, but I think it's safe to assume that if you are one, you can drive very good and always give yourself safe room on both sides of you. If you needed every inch on both sides of you, I'm pretty sure they would make the roads much wider, and they are wide enough.

  • @roaklin Lastly, I'm sure the wind couldn't have pushed the truck enough to hit the car at more than half its width (the car didn't get knocked to the side.) Even if the wind was a hazard, the truck driver should have been more alert, especially if there was a stopped cop and car next to him. He could have driven slower and there was still enough space for him. Its mostly the truck drivers fault, intentionally or not.

  • @ch00bz0rzz It don't take " a lot" of wind to shift a truck compared to a lower profile car. Also you are totally over looking one fundamental thing...what did the car do to get pulled over in the first place to set up the chain of events that lead to this crash? Therefore it totally on the car for being a moron driver to begin with to set up the chain of events from the start and the car paid for it.

  • @roaklin You are saying that the car driver being a moron and only because the car diver was a moron, the truck driver hit his car when he could have avoided this accident. Thats like say this:

I was walking down the hall and this guy left his locker open. All of a sudden, I accidentally walked right into his locker and smashed my face! I could have avoided his locker if I was paying attention, but no

  • @ch00bz0rzz That is nothing like what happened in the video. Once you have handled 20 tons of equipment at those speeds then you will understand.

  • @roaklin When you're handling 20 tons of equipment at those speeds then you're supposed to be alert, drive at safe speeds, give youself space, and not hit the back of cars that aren't in your way. You just made my piont. I already understand.

  • @ch00bz0rzz You are showing your ignorance. EVERY driver on the road is responsible for their ride be it car, truck, moped or gas powered grocery cart. The car didnt drive in a safe manner hence getting pulled over & then did not ensure he was totally clear of the road, on the line is NOT clear. The cars along side the truck didnt allow the truck out of that lane & the trucker failed to control his equipment. It goes back to car messed up first, he drive right none of it would have happened..

  • @roaklin You are the one showing senselessness. Im trying to approach this with reasoning and you still dont get it. You again just proved my point!:

EVERY driver on the road is responsible for their ride be it car, truck, moped or gas powered grocery cart.

Now you say that it was the car's fault!? You are contradicting yourself! The truck was responsible for his ride, not the car! You even said so! Therefore it was mostly the trucker's fault.

  • @roaklin The car did start everything but the truck still could have avoided it if he was paying attention and actually sheering. Tell me how wide an average highway lane is, how wide an average truck is, and how much of the road you think the car on. Do the math yourself!

  • @ch00bz0rzz I am not going to debate this to the end of time, until you have driven a rig you will never understand. You would be very suprised how little it takes to affect a big rig on the highway and the fact the rig hit the car is irrelevant as any car could have hit him, as while yes you are correct a lane is X wide and a rig is Y wide, I have yet to see ANYBODY drive perfectly straight with out wavering an inch or a foot in any direction for any reason what so ever and it happens fast.

  • @roaklin Fine, this is my last reply but I'll say one more thing.

That cop would have been signaling the car to pull over far back and the truck driver would have seen that, especially since he was behind them. He should have been prepared to do things like change lanes or slow down incase anything should happen. Because just like you said, "You ... how little it takes to affect a big rig on the highway". The trucker didn't prepare. If he did, this vid wouldn't be on YouTube.

  • @roaklin He left his locker open in the first place, and totally ignoring that I wasnt paying attention, I can come to the conclusion that he is an idiot and I smashed my face because of him.

In that case, it was mostly the fault of the guy who got his face smashed.

In this video, it was mostly the truck driver's fault.

  • you should also notice that after the truck hit the car you can see the Both lanes had cars in them leaving no room for the truck. All the cars seem to slow down for the cop but the truck just can't slow down like that. You can hear the air horn building for some time hence the cop said "get out of the road".

  • @rjstur I'm sure the cop didn't appear out of nowhere to pull over the car. He would have been signaling the car to pull over from far back and the trucker would have seen since he was behind them. He would have had more than enough time to slow down. Also, tell me how wide a truck is, how wide a lane is, and how much of the lane you think the car was on. I'm sure there was enough room for that truck.

  • @rjstur Safe operating speeds of vehicles means operating your vehicle at speeds where you can stop in a reasonable amount of time / distance. If you're trying to say that the truck couldn't stop in time, despite having the cop pull the guy over in front of him, then the trucker was still at fault for driving beyond his vehicle's safe operating speed.

  • @ch00bz0rzz look carefully to me it looked like the pickup at :16 was returning in the lane after passing the truck if so then he may have cut the truck off causing the driver to swerve to the shoulder

  • @oney135 the pickup was behind the truck, 0:16 is the end of the video

  • "he's gone"

I'm not sure I could remain that calm haha

  • Something tells me that this officer has seen this once or twice before.

  • @llfdemt ya me to

  • Truck Drivers fault ALL THE WAY.

That truck was on at least half of the way onto the shoulder! The car WAS on the shoulder completely. The white line WAS on the LEFT side of the drivers wheels - technically, he's "off the road" (BUT NOT FAR ENOUGH).

Looks like the truck barely missed the police car. You can hear the "rumble strips" as the truck is coming.

    End of Story

  • Not true. The car was in the road. It was over the line. The cop even said get out of the road. The truck could not move into the other lane because of traffic beside it. The car went to the right then went back left right before being hit. The driver was either stupid or intoxicated.

  • You're right about the position of the car but if you really look closely and slow down the video that Big Truck was WAY across the white line onto the shoulder - that's why you hear the rumble strips going crazy - cheers

  • @1eye4revolution i agree 100% i am a truck driver my self but it was the truck drivers fault

  • @1eye4revolution While I usually side with the truckers (I have several in my family) I think you're absolutely right, the truck was way over the line when he hit the "Dumb ass's" car. The car was just on the right side of the line, the truck was too.

  • its not the truck drivers fault he tried to stop those trucks dont stop going that fast

  • lol.... so many ppl trying to figure out whos fault it is .. some saying a car cut the semi of .. .. and theres one down there talking about the seconds and stuff... lol.. made me laugh .. yeh . and ones talking about 5 feet , 3 feet .. lol.... and there 1 saying.. .. "yeah . i survived".. lmao..

  • the cop goes, "hes gone." at the end! wow those people were idiots

  • Lol the cop is like FML, AGAIN????

  • Indicators and hazard warning lamps not used by offender/POI> all contribute to the lack of required warning to rear-approaching traffic.

All an aside from not pulling off far enough.

  • 0:11 you can see the black car that cut him off in the right lane where the semi is supposed to be -_-

  • 0:11 stupid car cut semi off , semi tried to avoid car on left and did not know the car was on the right so he hit the car and that is that! -_-

  • I love reading all the comments ppl put up on these vids, trying to analyse them and figure out who's at fault, lol! *shakes head* some people..

  • For mrriteubthejudge

Watch the video again, the right side of the truck is even with the right side of the car about 3 feet from the dirt and a full car width, about 5 feet over the line. If he had been just 1 foot into the shoulder the car would have spun, it doesn't until the truck moves back over into the right lane near the end of the video.

  • 7 seconds of video go by before the 1st car passes the car pulled off the road. 2s pass before impact. that gave the truck at least 9 seconds to hit the brakes and slow down sufficiently to avoid the car in the right lane. Second, the truck swerves back into the right lane and keeps going after the collision making no attempt to stop. The truck driver really has no excuse.

  • Yeah.I survived

  • i wonder if the driver's dead?

  • I like how the cop just sighs when it hits the car.

  • dead?

  • excellent place to pull someone over right at an exit...stupid f'n cops

  • ??? It was after the exit so what does it matter.

  • '12-989 to base, cancel that call for backup.'

  • Can you 10-9 that? I believe you said continue eating my doughnuts.

  • Does anybody know if the guy that got pulled over survived?

  • Oh. haha. Sorry bout that. Yeah, I know what you mean as far as pulling over as far as yuo can go.

  • Yeah, I can agree to some extent, but I would lay more blame on the trucker than the guy.

  • i wonder if the driver who got hit would still get a ticket if he survived...

  • that cop didnt even say anything when the guy got hit. he sounded more irritated then shocked

  • Lol, true. The way he said "he's gone" made it sound like the cop knew there was no way he survived that. Why waste his precious time checking?

  • lol means more time to get to the donut shop!! lol

  • That's probably because he deals with idiots every day, and this idiot got himself killed.

  • Well, the trucker wasn't exactly close to being in his lane...

  • @20mseanb07

Oh, and on topic of this video: It's dangerously close to the driving lane. For starters, getting out of this car is a huge risk in itself. And I doubt the police officer was keen on standing on the lane while chatting with this fellow.

Considering the crash.... No doubt, the Truck was way out of his lane. He'd hit the car even if the driver pulled over correctly, although possible outcomes should've been less severe.

    But, yeah, this is life.

  • omg thts kinda funny,,the cops like get outta the roead BAM!! gooddd... hes gone...its like hes kid did something wrong ho could have cared less

  • everyone panics when they see flashing lights.

  • holy shit

  • so stuck on the side of the road and have to call in for a tow which I have to pay for, plus a ticket/points/insurance rates through the roof, you might as well just have it plowed by the big rig and get a new car. either way costs about the same.....

  • I will always pull over half way on the grass from now on

  • the cop will feel guilt for the rest of his life

  • the truck driver was a good 3-4 feet into the shoulder, not to mention this is a police video... ever seen the signs? move over and slow down for emergency vehicles?

  • so the truck driver should cut left and run more vehicles off the road???????????

  • shoulda hit the cop car!
