THe title "JESUS CHRIST" comes from the Greek "JESUS CHRISTOS." Christos is a title, not a name, as is "CHRIST", Christ and Christos actually mean "THE ANNOINTED ONE."
The Greek JESUS (Hey-Zeus") Comes from 2 terms, "HA meaning HEALING, And ZEUS.) The title JESUS CHRIST, or JE-SUS CHRISTOS actually means 'THE ANNOINTED ONE OF HEALING ZEUS" or "HEALING ZEUS THE ANNOINTED ONE.

THe title "JESUS CHRIST" comes from the Greek "JESUS CHRISTOS." Christos is a title, not a name, as is "CHRIST", Christ and Christos actually mean "THE ANNOINTED ONE."
The Greek JESUS (Hey-Zeus") Comes from 2 terms, "HA meaning HEALING, And ZEUS.) The title JESUS CHRIST, or JE-SUS CHRISTOS actually means 'THE ANNOINTED ONE OF HEALING ZEUS" or "HEALING ZEUS THE ANNOINTED ONE.

However, it has been my understanding that transliteration is from one alphabet to another: for instance, the Hebrew alphabet to the English alphabet. But translation is from one language to another: for instance, Spanish to English. Since Aramaic uses the Hebrew alphabet and Greek uses the Greek alphabet, then I guess they were both transliterated and translated.

If you really believed in god and really understood the implications of god existing, you wouldn't be praying to god. It's obscene to thank god, as you're really giving thanks that god didn't screw you over like he did some other. Then it's an insult to god to ask for anything in prayer because you'd be essentially asking god to change his perfect plan. BTW: I am a medic. I don't see how you can believe in god and reconcile that with an accurate education in biology.
