I think it is very sad that people are still drawing lines in race. We are so united with interracial marriages and children. Is anyone as pure as they claim? This is just as offensive as a "White Frat" would be regardless of who they say they let in unless they were forced into quotas like the white groups were. Say 50% must be white. The problem with your theory is that you assume there is some type of racist undertone in these fraternities. Just like "White" frats, "Black" frats is just a description of the people in said fraternity. Neither has some imperialistic view of taking over the country or what not. As a member of a NPHC frat I can tell you that for the most part none of the NPHC organizations recruit. You express your interest on your own volition. Unfortunately "the high school cafeteria phenomena" is still here.

While it may be true that some frats have a majority of white members I don't see any that specificaly define themselves as "white". Where I see many black frats that think nothing of advertising their skin color of choice. That should end. In addition clearly the United Negro College fund should drop the negro word and offer scholorships to all people in need. Reverse racism has done as much damage to black americans as racism itself. Special treatment is no longer needed nor wanted.

a white person interested in membership. You see unlike IFC/PHA frats/sorors, the NPHC doesn't really engage in recruitment. If you want to be a member you know where to find them. That school they are at is predominately white institution but as you see in the background of the step show, not one white person there. Its kind of a "cafeteria seating syndrome." Also, why should minorities give up their organizations they worked hard to create to be part of the majority?

lol what you still don't get is that the UNCF is no more illegal than the "Boy Scouts" not making room for girls or church's giving scholarships to people of their denomination. It sounds like your problem should be with schools and business that institute "Affirmative Action" which is become slowly obselete (sp?). Well actually sir I received my Eagle Scout in 2000. I never saw a single girl there, just mothers...so that would make you incorrect again my good man. You tell me when an under-18 year old girl was admitted into boy scouts or sued (and won) the BSA. Not saying it never happened but I was very involved in BSA for a very very long time.

As a member of a BGLO I can tell you that none of the historically black greek fraternities or sororities deny membership based on race or culture. The reason these BGLO's were founded was because we (african americans) were denied entry into all white sororities and fraternities. Many, if not all of our sororities/fraternities have members who are not african american
