every one in the world should be in a singing group ... its one thing to hear people sing ... but its so amazing to be one of the singers .. especially in a group this size ... even if you cant sing ... you just lip the words ... humm ... and get lost in the energy of the music created by everyone surrounding you .. its really the only way to truely experiance music ... you have to be apart of it ... submerged in it ... and serioulsy any one alive should be singing with others ... all the time!
Yes, yes...I sang in a symphony chorus. For me it was not just the power of the harmony of a hundred singers, but also the thought that the music was selected from the best that was composed over a span of 400-odd years...then adding in the centuries spent in the development of each of the instruments, plus the years each of the musicians had devoted to study and practice...it was absolutely transcendent.
