  • Technically true, she is doing the same amount of work overall when she "snakes" up. But it's no longer the chest/shoulders/triceps doing all that work. She's basically doing a "girl pushup", and then using her abs and lower body to get the rest of her into the air. If the goal is a total body workout (rather than building certain muscles) then that's fine.
