  • They have more chief trucks and Ic then they have engines

  • on 4:36 you can see the guy talking on the radio and here it in a car

  • I don't usually like "responding" videos, but in this one, it's very cool to see the header from so far off getting closer and closer, until the FF says "wow". I was impressed.

  • It's good to see some of the old classic trucks still in service like the pumper truck at 3:58... what year and what kind of truck is that?

  • @wduane2807 It's a 1987 Ford, that is our reserve engine.

  • @WestPlainsFD Ok I thought it was like mid 70's but I check into it and I guess Ford made very little changes to their big cab-over trucks from the 60's to the late 80's. 1987 is still a classic, if not it will be real soon, still good to see it out there and still in service.

  • @WestPlainsFD how much appuratus does willow springs have?

  • @wduane2807 my department has a 1978 American LaFrance and a 1987 Hahn that are still in service, however the 78 ALF will be replaced by a brand new engine later this spring.

  • any word on what started the fire?

  • @Jpalmisano25 Possibly electrical, but have not heard.

  • How many alarms did they drop on this?

  • @michaels1432 They dont do alarms, but they had 5 departments for mutual aid.

  • Two new videos have been posted with footage from the fire. Helmet cam view also.

  • Good use of your horn :D

  • you always know its a big one when you can see the smoke that far away

  • shes rolling

  • @kylewagman I'd have to disagree, With the water supply in that part of the town, the IC did a VERY good job in my opinion. Coordinating efforts from at least 5 local departments, they are to be commended. Great video 431 & 431A!

  • @VFVFCo68 We had about a 30 minute response since it was mutual aid to another town. If I was a betting man, I'd say it fell off enroute lol

  • That is a surround and drowned.

  • One of my Favorite videos can't WAIT For More!!

  • nice videos

  • nice video brother. stay safe out there

  • Gotta love the two honks in the beginning!

  • Nice response! Love it! The fire seems to be huge but are there so little firetrucks that you have to get firetrucks from a town that needs to respond 30 mins? Anyways must be fun to respond 30mins!

  • what state?

  • Great job! But Poor job by the IC. The seccond I saw the fire, I would have called 100 tower ladders to the scene. Master Streams are the way to go! I am suprised they originally made the request for manpower, not your ladder. Anyways, good job! Hope no one was hurt. Stay Safe!

  • Great video, although it appears someone forgot to put the cover back on the ladders on the engine.

  • How come you were not using your siren in your pov?

  • @firerescue1000 Because I was with him. I'm his wife and I'm not a firefighter. Therefore he doesn't run code with me in there due to safety reasons. He knew he would stay at the speed limit on the highway so it didn't matter if he ran code or not.

  • Great video mate I have been a subscriber of yours for a while now and all your vids are top quality mate, keep up the good work and stay safe brother

  • you know what started it??

  • gollllly thats one workin fire right there

  • she's cooking o man

  • @ghostdrew1 There will be another video or two in the next couple of days with more footage.

  • What happened? Box or 2nd alarm fire??

  • @sfdtruck52 i know it was a fire

  • best sorry
