@JippaLippa this is a pretty standard shot with the time lapse function and a tripod, I didn't do anything special. I'd just work on your lighting and see what you can do
@areyasure 37 mm. go to amazon.com and search for "ziekos 37mm fisheye" it's a great value. shipping included of course, unless you do free 2 day shipping.
I'm hesitant in getting this cam, was looking at the GZ-HM200, it has a 1/4-inch CMOS censor, while this new model only has 1/5.8-inch sensor. Why would they do this. Now I'm looking at higher spec models, for me 1/4 inch sensor is the limit I'll go to..
@striffy The HM300 is at the same price as the HM200 now, at Amazon, if you want it, get it NOW! Amazing discount, go check it out. It has some small better features like dual SD card and some other stuff.
@wwwgeekdotcom Yeah, it is kind of weird... You did open the window, right? I have the same camera and I did a time lapse of my town at 40 second intervals, from behind a closed window and it turned out pretty good. It starts making the shot ten seconds in advance, so that it focusses and blurs out anything that might be in frame like flies.
Well, that's true. Hm... Maybe you could try doing a shot of a street or something, with you walking it down, first-person sight? So we could see it recording exterior? .x
I'll keep doing these, maybe I'll put the cam outside for a bit and just do a faster interval. I"d keep the window open but it's like 30 degrees outside
What interval were you shooting on?

failgopher 2 years ago
@failgopher In my opinion, the JVC GZ-HM300BUS is a better cam than the cx100

Looks pretty shitty for 1080p if you ask me
Animagladius 2 years ago
It's shooting through a window, that doesn't help. Plus youtube obviously isn't showing it at 1920x1080. And, it's a sub $500 cam.
wwwgeekdotcom 2 years ago
not that I'm trying to defend it. it is what it is.
btw- the file is unedited
