  • If I ever think I dislike a Killers song, I always realize how awesome the song really is when I actually listen. Killers ftw.

  • Im so bored here at my job, i dont have anything to do, just waitng to the end of the day, listening to this music, makes me forget about all my troubles... !!! Sad life :S

  • In the dark, for a while now, I can't stay, very far, I can't stay much longer, riding my decisions home > fun, fun, fun, fun, we gonna have a ball today, yesterday was thursday...

  • I Love this song!

  • 12 people can stay in the darkness

  • in this one Brandon Flowers sounds like Tom Chaplin from Keane, both bands are special for me.

  • best group the killers

  • The killers...my best time ever

  • 4th Studio Album well under way, it's called 'Battle Born' - and due next Spring/Summer!!!

  • @officialcalummenzies for real??? that's music to my ears

  • day and age is both overrated and underrated. NO its not their best album, mainly because i dont like, I cant stay, neon tiger, the world that we live in or joy ride AT ALL!. but goodbye travel well is one of their best. this is your life is ok and losing touch, spaceman, human and a dustland fairytale is good. I like these songs but the songs in the middle ruin the album for me. overall a 7/10 for album since i cant finish it fully without skipping to goodbye travel well.

  • @elyKyle95 wth is rong with u. goodnight travel well sucks. all the other songs rock, but everyone has their own opinion. however im still right :P

  • @elyKyle95 well, thats your opinion. I love all the songs on this album especially Neon Tiger

  • This song is pretty refreshing.

  • To bad they broke up.

  • @KidCommentater They're not. The Killers are currently recording their 4th album

  • @Trevdaman Hot Fuss, Sam's Town, Sawdust, and Day and Age... they already have 4 albums out

  • @KidCommentater

where did you get that idea??

  • @KidCommentater yeah, brandon flowers just went on his own for a bit to do flamingo and now well, MORE HISTORY TO BE MADE <3

  • They're better than Coldplay.

  • I can't stay without listening this song!!

  • this is fucking musical

  • LOVE the outro of this one!

  • how did they make such beautiful songs? i am always just in awe when i listen to Day & Age. synths and overproduced sounds? nahh, i don't think so. they clearly put their hearts and souls into this album. and it shows. it has a much more polished sound than all the others, and it shows growth.

  • I'm not hating on this album, it's a good album. They made this album using Logic Studio, it's kinda obvious given the overpowered glamorous synth sounding instruments through out. I wanna know how much of this album is real instruments, and not drum beats, anybody wanna help me out on that?

  • i'm trying to like this music but i'm honestly having a hard time of sitting through this XD

i lyk metal so this is really weird for me..

  • such a catchy chorus

  • Beautiful<3.

  • the bridge at 1:46 is magic

  • @arinross523

    It tottaly agree, so perfect

  • Thank God for Brandon Flowers and the Killers. Makes me smile. Brandon is adorable and a great song writer :)

  • what is this song about ?

  • the killers are amazing. coldplay is amazing. remind me why we have to compare them? oh wait, we don't.

  • This sounds so lively. Yeah, that's the word.

  • riding make more sense..meaning he took a ride in a cab and still thinking about his decision..somethin like that....like 'sleep on it' kind a thing....

  • lmao why would he be writing in the dark?? its RIDING.

  • Amazing song <33

  • i always thought it was "riding" my decision home. as in, he's on an airplane, because this song is about him leaving his family for touring.

  • I know your comment is old.. and your'll probably never read this honestly, but I just want to sayI really like both Coldplay and The Killers, they both have a special touch in my opinion :P of course, everyone has their own opinion.

  • "Now there's a majesty at my doorstep, and there's a little boy in her arms.."

Something about that bit makes me envision the situation he's talking about.. Poetic and beautiful!

  • If you view the lyrics without the music you'd think, gee what a sad song.

But when you hear the song you think, whoa it's so up-beat and happy, I could make pancakes while listening to this song!

  • Hah The Killers killed it again...what more can i say? and yes pun intended :D

    I love the whole DAY&AGE album.. n.n"

  • ( I knew I had to make my #decision , but I never made the time )

  • this song makes me so happy :)

  • RIDING my decision home.

the song (in my opinion) is about being away from loved ones. the "little boy in her arms" represents his children. i can imagine that if i was touring and constantly away from my family, the pain of it would hit me the hardest on the way home. i would keep thinking.. it doesn't have to be like this, i could be with them all the time... just feeling like you can't stay away from them for this long. it's just too long

just my two cent. amazing song btw

  • The Killers

    BEST BAND EVER!!!

  • the killers and the strokes are the two best bands of the 00's in my opinion :P

  • @lorenzo152857 both bands inspired me to start one, lol coincidence

  • @Soleswaga SAME HERE MAN....OUR REMEMBER 2 SAY WAT'S UP 2 YOU WHEN WE'RE FAMOUS

  • @lorenzo152857 yess i was telllin my friend that yesterday. hands down, two best. if i were to throw a third in there it would be between interpol and The Mars Volta, though u can't really compare the two

  • @arinross523 indeed, they are what is going to be remembered generations from now :), i like the killers and the strokes alot because i can relate to their songs :)

  • @lorenzo152857 They're great. But how about Muse? The Darkness? The Mars Volta?

  • @s4msam yeha them too :p

  • @lorenzo152857 couldn't agree more - been saying that for years. If there was a third I'd say it'd be The Mars Volta

  • @arinross523 yup :3

  • @lorenzo152857

    You, sir or madame,

    I love you. :D

[Huge The Killers & The Strokes fan!]

  • @lorenzo152857 mgmt..

  • anyone got the notes for the sax solo?(in tenor or alto key?)

  • This song is awesome and its been stuck in my head for 3 weeks strait but i dont mind =)

  • this is the kind of music that gets me through the day. please come out with another ablbum sooon.... <3

  • This was one of those songs I heard but didn't have time to ask about.... I was ready to tackle somebody when they wouldn't tell me what it was called. Thank goodness for lyrics search.

  • Oh, I just flippin' love these guys!

  • stuck in my head. all day.

  • lol i cnt get this song off my head(:

  • This should have been a single

  • Comment removed

  • great song ! First time I heard it wasn't a huge fan but now i cant stop listening to it !

  • i love this song just downlaoded it from itraxmusic

  • I love them and they are soooo amazing in live concert ,when i went to a concert on there day and age tour i was right in front the only thing keeping us apart was a stupid gate and guards lol I LOVE THE KILLERS

  • It reminds me of Brisbane, the place i'm originally from.

In many ways it's like Vegas. Party-like and uplifting. ^_^

  • love the aucostic guitar!!!!!!

  • i have liked the killers for like 4 years(;

  • the killers are definately better than coldplay in my opinion..

  • @abhazkiz

y even compare when the styles are completely different coldplay and the killers cant really compare

  • @skateemos i agree their styles are quite different. I enjoy The Killers songs more, but everyone has their own opinion..at the time of my last comment me and a friend were having heated debates as to which band was better so I guess that pushed me to comment on the matter :)

  • @abhazkiz Coldplay has been my favorite band since I was little when I heard them. But there is just something The Killers. Their music.......kills!

  • @abhazkiz You can't even compare the two, The Killers are gods

  • @abhazkiz the killers is one of my favorite groups, as well as coldplay. I've been to both groups' concerts, both are really energetic on stage, they really give it all out there. I really think the music from both groups is awsome standing on their own. Their songs and type of music are so different from each other I really cannot compare them at any point, in my opinion..

  • @abhazkiz is there even a comparison? lol

  • @abhazkiz coldplay sucks balls. of course everyone likes this. :]

  • @abhazkiz they sound nothing alike, so why would you compare them to coldplay of all bands?

  • @abhazkiz how can you even compare them?! Killers are far better in terms of their creativity of songs and variety of different melody's and lyrics. They put their hearts and souls into every track, whereas coldplay (steve martin) just sing about depressing and glum things, which are good dont get me wrong, but the Killers have always wow'd me with every album, producing something different and enjoyable to listen to :)

  • @stoneyboi13 Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but if you are going to criticize Coldplay please get his name right. Steve Martin is a 70 year old comedian. Chris Martin is a musical genius.

  • @Algorithm16 @stoneyboi13 And yes, what people say about Coldplay is their own opinion. But if they're going to criticize, they could at least listen to their albums a few times then judge. Overall, I love The Killers (Hot Fuss, being generally my favourite album) but Coldplay are a lot better in my opinion. Coldplay don't talk about depressing things, they mostly talk about love and the world around them. Either way, life is depressing, get the fuck over it and stop criticizing, Stonyboi13.

  • @MattyCody Alot of Coldplay songs sound them same to me.

  • @abhazkiz I like both, but the killers are for sure better

  • Learn English?

  • i love hows he like "I cant stay" but it has a such a happy feeling to it!

i love the killers and brandons voice! and there music! i love it all!

  • I <3 TKs, Palladia channel was showing their concert at the Albert Hall, it was amazing!!!

  • who's the moron that gave this song a negative rating?

  • hahahahaahahhaha made my day

  • Brandon Flowers is a musical genious.. the drumming is amazing.. the guitar parts are creative.. the bass is just.. awesome.. and i love this band with a freaking passion.. go KILLERS!!!!!

ps. theyre evern BETTER in concert =D

  • @22Guitar Player Mark Stoermer is probably the most hardest working bassist, musician, writer, since LES CLAYPOOL. The Killers are the most quintessential ROCKBAND ever. A front-man with looks and a voice that goes on for a thousand miles. Not to mention his stage performance. The drummer, when he's playing, looks like a KID just having fun, but is probably the most talented drummer since Neil Ellwood Peart. Dave Keuning is A ROCKSTAR. FUCKING SHREDDEERRRR.... Music with a purpose. go KILLERS!!!

  • i love all the killers songs and i love ♥♥♥ brandon flowers and the rest of the grupe ♥♥♥♥ and im only 13 xoxoxox ♥♥♥

  • well and a couple others exe. silversun pickups or the toxic air event, to name a couple... write a mean modern day think about it piece.. oh ya radiohead redeemed themselves with in rainbows.. all great bands

  • i love how rock bands like the killers are different..beautiful written words with magical music.. the only other band i hold in this respect is coldplay..

  • Oh, this song relaxes me so much on tough days. Go Killers!

  • I love the Killers. So many bands/artists sound the same these days. The Killers are different and that's a good thing. I respect them all greatly, and can't wait to see them this month!

  • Its so different. I love how rock bands are doing stuff like this now a days :p Its amazing <3

  • I love the beginning. I love the whole song actually. theyre great =]

  • i love the killers there so diffent

  • this and the world we live in is my fav songs on this album! the killers are great

check out my page guys jus recently started makin vids

  • Is is riding? or WRITING... writing my decision home... like a letter. That's how I sing along : )

  • It's...riding my decision home

  • @Trevdaman Writing my decision home sounds more likely.

  • @compmaster13 it sounds like writing. But i promise you it's riding

  • @Trevdaman gotta love the ambiguity of some lyrics...and also how songwriters play on words so that songs can have a multiplicity of meanings!! :)

  • @melissastrawbridge That's what i like about bands i listen to

  • @Trevdaman

Yeah... Like dancer, danser and dancers - Brandon had opened a debate with that one. Ha ! He knows how to be a troll ;D

    Still, I love him ;)

  • @PigWithAWig whens their next album coming out?

  • the lyrics are in the description... writing??? that wouldnt/doesnt make sense.

  • Haha, like riding does.

  • I say riding.

  • @thegrowhole it is riding

  • I love this song too much....

  • FUCK. I love this song so much. It's so cute! It's my favourite one off Day and Age atm, but tbh they're all awesome.

  • i like this one too... just not more than a dustland fairytale =). that's up there with jenny was a friend of mine for my all time favorite killers songs. i really like this whole album though, better than sam's town in my opinion... but haven't decided if it's better than hot fuss...

  • Awesome song. They really developed a unique sound since their first album. I defiantly think they are up there with U2.

  • OMG!!

    amazing song i loveeee itt!!!:)

  • The Killers Rocks!

    .♥

  • One of their best songs!!!!!!

Every song is good, but this is amazing :D

  • this song is coolio and awesome

  • ♥ this song

    its beautiful

i think when he says "...and there's a little boy in her arms..."he is singing about Tana and Ammon

  • It's beautiful, dark, and yet placid.

  • excellent track

  • ♥

  • This song is soo spiritual.

The lyric: "exoneration lost his eraser, but my Forgiver found a Son." is one of the most beautiful song lyrics I have ever heard.

Exoneration is being free from blame. He lost his eraser, or humans did, in the Garden of Eden when Adam and Eve fell into original sin. But God, the Forgiver found a Son, being Jesus who frees us from our twisted and sinful days because we are not the only ones, Jesus is always with us.

Brandon is a modern day Shakespeare.

  • totally agree :)

  • Wow! That's awesome!

  • wow thats awesome <3

  • In little bits it has a sound of chameleon by boy george. Only in some aspects though

    I love the killers (L)

  • It has a niiiiiice beat though :)

  • i like there new stuff its pretty cool, but i'd like em to do one last big ass rock song to blow evryone away

  • its different thts all ill say...
