- an exceptionally well-organized, professional campaign
- a history of really thinking through issues, listening to and working with people across the political spectrum
- a far superior energy and health care policy
- his experience in constitutional law and his reform of the Illinois death penalty when he was in the state legislature

My dear, dear friend. Obama wants to "spread the wealth around". He said it himself. He supports socialism, which is really unfair. Now if you believe hell give you 500 extra, then you are WRONG, buddy. He isnt a saint, he is a celebrity, thats why he is popular.

cntd. my mother went to school over 10 years after she went to college my parents waited to have kids later so they could achieve success in their careers why do they have to be punished? why do hardwring people that chose to further their education, wait to have kids, and still work there butt off have to punished? its not right!mymotherand father have no problem giving money infact i think americans are pretty generous but why does my mom have to pay forpeople that didnt choose to work as hard

shes a doctor with three kids and next year one of them will be going to college. me! but unlike the bartunde guy my mom is not included in obamas tax cuts. why? because in his eyes we are "wealthy" how is a hard working couple (my mom and dad are married and make over 250k a year) with three kids two of them in private school and one about to go to college wealthy

ok why exactly Barett do you like Obama is it just because he is black? what are some of his other views that you support? I black and a democrat but i support John Mccain. Obama's history is a bit troublesome to me also his idea of "spreading the wealth" is scary. I do not want America a "gov't for the people by the people" to be socialist. So what if joe the Plumber isnt actually a plumber. he dreams of buying a buisness. Obama asked him the queston and said what he said & it was socialist.

well vitt, how about not raising taxes for anybody like with John McCain??? Ok so if you are poor and you want basically "stolen" money from the rich, go ahead and vote for Obama. And I have no problem with those that work hard and don't get paid enough, but lets work on paying those people more with money they work for and get from their employers, not hard working American citizens. McCain 08, because socialism isn't the answer.

Its not possible for taxes not to be raised Him saying he's not gunna raise taxes is false its going to be done eventually so why not have a certain plan then to be blindsided at a later date..I don understand where your coming from but with mccain things seem like they'll just be the same as they always where..and the same isn't good because again the world is built to make the rich richer and the poor poorer I personally don't see a problem raising taxes for the wealthy they can cope

And if you say it is; then say you were poor and went to a nicer house and robbed a tv, is that right? No, but Obama wants pretty much the same thing. Obama is NOT a Socialist. He's a capitalist. A corporatist. Even calling him a Social Democrat (a form of socialism that does quite, QUITE well in northern Europe) is a stretch. But you knew that right?
That said: If you make most of the money -- and note I said "make" and not "earn", why shouldn't you pay most of the taxes?

Do you know what socialism means? It's exactly what Obama is planning, taking money from the semi-weathly to weathy, and giving the money you take from them to those that make less than them. Basically, if you work harder, you have to pay higher taxes to those that don't, and if you don't, you get free money... yay!!! HORRIBLE plan that can even be made into comunism which might not be far off. McCain 08 please people, don't let Obama's lies fool you, it won't work for America!

So, you prefer the McCain-backed socialism of the Bush administration in which you take money from working Americans and give it to the banks who ruined our economy? Or perhaps you prefer McCain's tax cuts for the wealthy, leaving the poor and middle class, the ones would would spend the money and get it back into the economy? Socialism is a word that is thrown around too freely. Don't throw these word grenades just because they're talking points.

Ok so here we have a good case of the "McBush" thing here; don't try and relate McCain to Bush becuase a lot of the time McCain has gone against Bush and even his own party for the better of America, not for votes. Also, tax cuts arn't just going to the wealthy with McCain, but to all working Americans. And the solution to helping the middle class shouldn't be "spreading the wealth around", but finding ways so that the hard work of Americans is rewarded by the company itself, not stolen money

also, just becuase you like Obama, don't try and get defensive on how Obama is creating socialism because plainly, he is and there is no hiding it. I'm not throwing "word grenades", I'm trying to warn the American people that giving stolen money to some Americans that don't work as hard or don't even pay taxes at all, isn't the right answer! Good work!!! Obama campaign needs to put together a creative ad campaign that shuts down this farcical Joe the Plumber promotional tour McCain and Palin are on. We are aren't all tax cheats and frauds like Joe the Plumber. We live in reality and don't pretend to earn in the hunderds of thousand. We work hard and are honest citizens. We don't hurl shady slurs and call people Sammy Davis Jr.
