@stoilas Z5's curing time varies depending on temperature and humidity. The sample was sufficiently cured.
Really it comes down to either the UV protection of products is hyped or this meter doesn't read in the range that they're blocking (but if it's not blocking the whole spectrum, why bother?).
I was actually shocked, I thought they'd all at least do something.
@redDragon128 I tried that too (off camera). No change in the UV reading.
So either the UV meter doesn't read in the range where these products give protection, their UV protection is hype, or this method of testing isn't accurate.
cool experiment... i wonder if the results would differ with microfiber towels, paper towels aren't exactly smooth and may wipe off too much wax :P or maybe i'm just really picky ;)
@J2theNoob No difference. I did a second coat off camera with microfibers and no change. If anything, because of microfibers increased surface area and texture they would remove more product than the paper towel. That's one of the benefits and reasons to use microfibers.
I would like to see this same experiment with sunscreen to see if those products block the amount of UV that it claims.

did you allow products to cure?
Correct me if I am wrong but at least Z5 needs some hours to cure properly

Can you check how well Aerospace 303 works? I think it has been shown to have real world results on interiors and rubbers.
