The root problem of modern Islam is that it's being hijacked by extremists. Unless or until moderate Muslims decide to take back their religion, denials (Islam is a religion of peace, organizations like Hezbollah and madrassas do not represent the true face of Islam), will never be acknowledged. If mainstream Islam finally surrenders to extremism, and nothing has been done to honorably prevent this calamity, then the moderates must forever suffer that enduring ignominy.
