I will still call out your name when it all gets to be too much (too much) dying is living without love I would sell your souls one and all if i could reach your heart i would spinning this sex like i was pissing in the wind of a thousand years To forget your smile with basement tears And i will still call out your name when bones turn to dust But I will still call out your name when it all gets to be too much (too much) Dying is living without love

Is it just me or are all of his songs just about the same... and he's way to slow, at least Travis Meeks plays different songs for each song, jeeezz..
My friend and I were at this show. It was at a bar called DBA in New Orleans. This was his first solo show. Mike Sanchez was also there. He played for about an hour, took a break for about 30 mins (during which several people left, thinking it was over), and played a few more songs. This was the only time he played this song, as well as his covers of Redemption Song and Cosmic Dancer,
I'm pretty damn sure I saw him at this same club, some small place in Mississippi whose name is now forgotten. Incredible, seemed to be a nearly perfect performance. I don't know that I was at this performance, but I know that wasn't blabbering away when he was on stage. ;) I was in too much awe seeing Dax sing live for the first time.
This song is one of my fav to play on guitar, along with ( black crayon) with dax riggs and primo from ( santeria ).. But I love playing this song around a fire, with friends, my hunny, and anyone that likes to listen, and btw ACIDBATH was the shit, esp loved the artwork that they used for the albums ( When the kite string pops ) and ( PTT )
the greatest Dax song ever. played only once, on this recording, in a dinky bar somewhere in louisiana. still waiting for this song to be on " the next record "...
Dax's vocal ability really shines through on this song. His emotion, vocal range and natural vibrato are unbelievable, not to mention lyrics. A shame this song was never played again.
Never ceases to send shivers down the spine listening to dax sing. XD

"To forget your smile,
the taste of tears."
Some of these lyrics became "No One Will Be A Stranger" on his most recent release. Keep up.

During the eclipse within your head
Have you cried like the ghost brought to life
All that i could have? beneath my? say it?
Burning bodies at the highway lie
During the eclipse within your head
have you cried like the beast ? said goodbye?
And i will still call your name
When bones turn to dust

You're right, Dax's vocal ability is amazing. His range is so amazing, hard to find that kind of talent anymore.
