how about YOU read my post again and get back to me..700hp DOES NOT EQUAL 700whp. 700whp = 810+hp at the motor. And how's this for info: chevy, pontiac, and ford all use a 358ci motor making just over 700hp (710-720 I believe) at **8000** rpm, the chevy at 8500... Again, 700whp out of an N/A 408 is not logical.

10-12%(drivetrain lost) on a manual trans, which is what they use and so about 780 to the wheels even then. your still completly wrong about the hp tool. chevy v-8 358ci (R07) nascar engine make 850hp @9,000rpm and 540 ft. lbs @ 7,200rpm.....so it is very possible to get 700WHP out of 408 N/A, that being said just stfu idiot

I was counting 15% which is 810.. I watched a few engine dyno vids and they said 710ish and so did a site that is updated almost daily. I suppose when I said not logical, you took it as impossible, but I meant improbable. As in its not likely to see it (street or track), but not impossible (nascar, custom build). could you show me somewhere it will show these #'s and maybe some specs? I'm interested.. That said this car is sick.

You are comparing apples to oranges. You cant compare a streetable n/a 408 that runs on pump gas to a high compression,top dollar parts, rebuilt after everyrace, runs on race fuel, built 408.
