Elizabeth: Glad you enjoyed it, posting it on your MySpace page is fine...I'm looking for a band to sing and record it. My DVD, "Acapella Handyman" has several more of my songs that I intend to upload as well---stay tuned...Yo Mama's bookcase was a hoot to install!--Peter Bray, Benicia, CA 1 hr NE of SF
Right on, Peter! You have certainly captured the essence of the unemployment situation that we are faced with. I'm so sorry that it has hit you directly, although, as with most artists, it has certainly inspired your muse and has gotten you to speak out and create this great tune. Who knows, you may become the next Woody Guthrie or Pete Seeger! I hope that you keep this social commentary going. We all need to listen to poets like you. I am Elizabeth, BJ's daughter.
Elizabeth: Thanks for the input, we seem to learn slow in America...every generation seems to have to go through these economic doldrums and travail...that's not efficient. People need to know they can survive it all with humor, song, sweat, and prayer...A whole lot more to come, stay tuned.--Pedro Bray, The A Capella Handyman, Benicia, CA
Peter has in down re feelings about being laid off and cast out by a corporation that he faithfully served. Very timely with what is going on in the workforce now.
Good work! You're a survivor and a man of many talents. fj
