The collapsing model is something I experienced in the profession I used to work in. It made me realize why the financial class stifle an environment enabling innovation in the mainstream market. It's perceived like a fiscal version of the season cycle, where spring was the post WW2 NASA era of high engineering, living wages and growing infrastructure. Now were in the demolition phase, and that's how profit is made.
The bastards in the state assembley passed the illegal alien "Dream Act" making the taxpayers of Stupidfornia subsidize the in-state tuition rate for NON-CITIZENS. Stupidfornia spends it's money on welare and illegal aliens while harassing business (that's fleeing to Texas). This State is a FAILED State and it's people seem to be idiots!
come on man . that is really bad in california, but now the state of Vermont is under water . and no help at all . looks like Katrina victims in Vermont. no schools no roads or bridges all washed away.
The US has 2 economies: the coastal bubble economy (which includes California, Florida & the North East), that is collapsing, and the heartland economy, which produces real stuff such as food, energy and manufactured goods, that will eventually boom when the dollar collapses.
@Ape65 Hope that its not too late regarding manufacturing. Its going to take much to build it back up. The USA as a whole is not a manufacturing nation but is on welfare being bailed out by the rest of the world. The USA prints money out of thin air to pay for imports while other nations must make real things in order to obtain foreign reserves in order to buy imports. For the USA: If its too good to be true, it probably is.
And then California reelects Gov.Moonbeam to continue bankrupting the state and putting more regulations on businesses that are already killing their business.
Forget what life was like pre 2007? How will I explain to my grandchildren how I rolled over and took it in the arse like a little bitch?(Coreys lingo)
Imagine if Paul Revere said screw it, the Brits will give us 3 squares a day. That won't be so bad, and then he decided to go back to bed because it's still pretty nippy in April at night.
@djgrooveline Yup, too much flouride and too many good shows on TV. Maybe some will wake up with some periodic blackouts...= forced time away from the boob tube. Some might even choose to read a book and learn something of our history as freedom fighters and winners no matter how difficult the opposition.
It was about time for you to get off your dead ass and post a video!
" forget what 2007 was like ".... I agree totally. Our standard of living reached its high water mark and its down hill from here.
Now we wait for reality to set in and the grieving process to start .... not gonna be pretty as people begin to come out of denial and enter the anger stage .
well I can understand about the chicken situation. There are things you must learn to handle chickens. If people had a lot of chickens, it is probable that that small collection would turn into a huge one in each yard, which also would become overflows into other yards. Chickens need to be clipped, yards cleaned to prevent disease in humans and also other pets, plus also kept healthy. There are a lot of people who don't even handle dogs right, so what do you think could happen with birds?
I hate yard sales. Im not going to be driving around and spinning my wheels looking at peoples junk.
Can someone even really make money off ebay with yard sales these days? Redneck picker on youtube says he does but I dont know how. arizonapublic doesn't seem to have much luck.
So too many sellers on ebay and not enough buyers now compared to before? I suspect maybe its because a lot of novices (not professional sellers) on ebay are selling their goods in their house due to the recession so there is a oversupply.
yeah the scrap gold on youtube guy says he can't even sale his jewelery and coins on ebay for the scrap value let alone the jewelery value. I hear ebay is really cut throat and im not one to get into something that is cut throat and I figure everyone and their mamma is selling stuff due to the recession now.
I wouldn't count this country out yet. Sure there is corruption in our gov but thats been there for a very long time. Yes, the income gap is huge but that may be corrected over the next few years. And I believe in Americans. We won't wait around for the big corps to employ us, we'll make our own jobs and then make jobs for others. Gas too high to run to the big supermarket, open a corner store. I would love one in my neighborhood.
@EWOKCAD Ahhh come on. We're talking America and Americans here. The most wealthy, innovative, hard working bunch of people the planet has ever known. Gold is only a bubble right now, just one rumor that Buffet was going to sell his Gold brought the price down 800 points, how stable is that? No build a corner store and that investment will pay off year after year for many years to come and kick the corporate assholes in the teeth at the same time.
All I see around me is people that just want to text, facebook, or talk about superficial crap or drink or do drugs or stay uneducated. There is very few people with a actual head on their shoulders.
@EWOKCAD This isn't about "them" it's about you. Think people weren't superficial when we were planning a trip the moon, or the internet was being put together? Sure there were but it didn't matter to the hard working, innovative visionaries. Apple started in a garage. Warren Buffet was brought up poor.
whos going to make your knife? Your going to open a factory in california? I wish I could start a company with us made products but im not even sure if thats possible to compete with the walmarts/targets/home depots/amazons of the world selling chinese garbage.
DJ have you thought of holding gold panning classes or something? or one on one instruction? How far do yuo have to drive to pan gold? I want to know how econmically feasible it is so when gold goes to 5000 will it be worth it.
You know if I had no income and no financial prospects Id probably jump off a bridge after watching this video. lol Thank goodness things are looking up for me. My recommendation is dont rely on a job. Reinvent the wheel. Pan gold, do web work, do whatever you gotta do.
no ebay is too much work (shipping, dealing with customers etc and not even sure if it will sale or not at a profit). I just do affiliate stuff off websites. But I don't recommend it took me years to get where I went and I dont make a whole lot of money (just save a lot of it).
Ebay is probably something you might want to look into though. If you dont know what to do thats one thing you could try. I dont know much about the ebay/wholesale stuff.
@EWOKCAD eBay isn't really worth the time anymore. It used to be great. They increased fees & changed a bunch of things over the last few years that hurts sellers, especially small sellers. Profit margins have been killed.
A few months ago they now give the first 50 listing sales for free so if you dont sale the first 50 tries its on the house. So ebay is now more favorable for small part time sellers, especially if your not sure what will sale or not.
@EWOKCAD They started that awhile back & what they don't tell you is that the final value fees were increased so you actually pay more in the long run. Also, NOTHING thru ebay is "on the house" you just don't pay what they call a "listing fee" which is just a mere 10 cent fee that doesn't include the cost of pics & other features. That whole free listing thing is just another ebay scam for ppl who don't read the fine print.
Before 2008 I didn't have a nickel to my name. now I bought a brand new fully loaded truck and plan to buy a house in cash somewhere cheap in maybe 2 or 3 years. So for me its great to know im on the ascend whereas everyone else is looking back at the glory days.
