I want to get a 2009 Durango SLT but the reviews i got from "Kelley Blue" were not so good. what is your opinion?

well ther are very different opinions about this truck, positive and negative, the hemi engine is the same in the 2009 generation, is a very powerfull engine, but if u abuse of the gas pedal it will cost u a lot, personally i love it and with a regular driving is a great truck, the only things that change between the 2006 to 2009 are the interior and exterior apereance, but still the same platform and engines, don`t know what u spect from the truck, but stills been a great truck

I think the engine on 2008 was 340 hp while on the 2009 is 376. the tourqu peak is at 4200 rpm "rather high RPM"

I was looking at one of these and the doors were paper thin aluminum, the door handles could be wiggled, the interior was made of what seemed to be "Made in China" and it drove like shit. Don't go for it, wait for the 2010 or 2011 models, most of the notable problems with the second generation durangos will be corrected and the exterior appearance of the 3rd generation can't be beat.

I bought it. the 2010 and 2011 will be totally differnt and some rumors are that it will be discontinued. Anyhow the SUV is great the features (a lot of power)

The fuel as long that you don't step on it abruptly seems to be reasonalbe. The seates are a bit hard.

Yes, Yukons are not in the same league as the Rangos. Nissan Armada will beat a non-modified D by a full second on a 0-60, but they lack style and interior comfort. It's a darn shame that they're discontinuing the Durango in 2010. I guess I'll keep mine as a collector - lol. :-)
