wow, you need to read your stuff better, your talking about the 80s cartoon NOT the original TMNT stuff..Splinter was NEVER was Yoshi!!! They did to make the story easy for the us kid to follow better...Shredder was never part with training with Yoshi.. The reason why orukusai wanted to kill Yoshi for revenge for killing someone in his family...And it starts from there.

the two policeman are laird and eastman. i have to agree with laird on the '87 series and this series focus the turtles on being more of a 'family' and the reason i think is remember the first episode of the '87 series? the turtles mutated instantly into teenagers! this means that they have less time together, less training, and even though they leo and, i think it was raph, were reverted into kids i dont believe that they actually had a childhood. but hey i've only seen all eps. up to season 4

Nooo dumb dumb splinter was hamato yoshi he was the master of orukusai or shreder anyways yoshi was the head of the foot clan and one day shredder mde it look lik yoshi was going to assasinate the leader of the foot clan and was banished from japan anyways he transformed in to a rat because he was around them all the time and he came in contact of ooZe Wichita mutated him

That's absolutely right....in '87 cartoon which was radicaly different to the original tmnt and every other version.

In the original comics, movies and the new cartoon Splinter was a pet of Hamato Yoshi and trained the turtles to avange his masters death.

that was from the '87 series- not 2k3. in the 2003 one (the one the video HERE is about) Splinter was a rat; always was-always will. he watched his owner, Hamato Yoshi, train in the art of ninjitsu, and mimicked his moves. Oroku Saki (shredder) got jealous cuz Yoshi loved his woman and killed him. Splinter went to NYC, found the turtles in the sewer (with the ooze still to follow), and he turned into a mutant rat- NOT from human to rat. Hope i shed some light on things for ya.

I think that master splinter was the pet rat of Homato Yoshi , who was a rival of Oraku Saki in Japan. They bothe were martial arts masters and splinter copied all of Yoshis moves. And in turn taught it to the turtles as they mutated and when they were grown teenagers splinter took revenge on Saki for killing his master Yoshi.

but yeah, the early seasons were great.

The "Flash Forward" stuff was just plain silly though.

The future stuff, was to this show, what Dimension X was to the 80s show

@ExplorerDS6789 Now that Nickelodeon owns TMNT it is going to be differnet. Don is going to have a different weapon unlike his bo staff. I think 4 kids did a better job then Nick is going to do.
