Yeah, i know, that's a true thing, not to think about a 300, just have fun bowling, and if it happens, it happens..( the 300 game ). I have fun going bowling, but when i'm bowling, i try not to leave an open frame. No open frames, and just spares & strikes, almost always leaves you a 200+ game. I've heard if you get 9 and a spare every single frame, you can shoot into the 180's+. I've never done it before, but that's what i heard a long time ago in the 90's.

It takes nerves of steal to get a 300. I have yet to see my first one and i've been bowling since i was 13...nearly 30 now. It's not as easy as it looks by far! But, i've heard making the 7-10 split is harder than a 300 game. lol I believe that too! For some folks, a 300's not hard, but for me, it's all in a matter of throwing the ball in a groove over & over to make it strike numerous times. I'm working on it....

@001GenLee - the best way to get a 300 is to not expect to bowl one. i just bowled my 1st 1 lik a copl weeks ago and im 16. my high game b4 that was a 257 so i didnt expect it at all. by lik the 8th i was already nervous. ive never had 8 ina row. by lik the 11th shot i was shaken lik crazy. it was crazy tho. its definitly not easy getting the 1st one tho thats for sure.

i bowled 8 strikes in a row... and my heart was beating so hard it was literally making me move from every beat. Then i got nervous... so i used a tiny bit of my grip sack and my ball stuck... :( but that day was still good. My team won the county tournament!!! yay

@speedlimitcj no word of a lie the first part of your story happened to me too i had the front 8 first time ever having the front 8 and i was so nervous thought i was gunna pass out but it was on a bowl ahead so if i had hit 300 i woulda been pretty pissed because it wouldnt be accepted by the ctf (Canadian ten-pin federation) as a perfect game as its not under league conditions

well when someone throws there first or second 300 ever and has 1 201 avg then it is a big deal and there is reason to cheer. but for example... there is a guy at my house that thre the front 20 and then left an 8 pin and noone was really freakin out becase there are certain people (like PDW) thaat throw a 300 every day

292 is probably the hardest to get. I mean it is very hard to get 2 pins. I have a 295 game. Went right between the 1 pin and 6 pin.

Its possible if you can hook the ball in such a way that you aim at the 10 Pin only. Theres your one pin lol.

If you think its hard and why I come up with this its probaly cause of rumors I heard in Singapore that bet on hitting only the 10 pin directly. Not sure why.
