I would've prefered this ending to the original ending since this makes sense. I mean the original ending showed that Dakota rescued Aubrey but what happens to Aubrey after? Does she die from bloodloss or something. Your alternate ending makes much more sense because Aubrey could've imagined it because pain makes you think things that don't exist{ Hallucination or thought}.

This is an extraordinary movie!!! I prefer the alternate endind on the dvd... where it shows that everything was a "joke" and there was no Aubrey or Dakota . And these main characters were just a story that was written buy a third girl (that's why in that endind Lindsay's wearin' a violet t-shirt ---> blue+red) =) =P

I think it's made to watch it more that once to understand everything =)

PEOPLE have different opinions about this movie. Mine is that they were twins, the whole movie explains it, what ever happend to aubrey happend to dakota even when they get cut . Honestly I love this movie, but it wasnt made very well, the acting was kinda bad, they could of made the story a little better. I just wish there was more to the story

Guys, the ending is whatever you perceive it to be. Not every1 is gonna see it the same way. Thats why the original ending shows it was all real. Sum will think they died after, sum will think they lived on (I belive they both lived). The other shows something different. Could be Aubreys story, could be Dakota has taken over Aubreys life. This video ending is just another take on things. I do like this ending, its an interesting idea. Good work Badparts.

i get what you were trying to do... and i get you were limited to how you could edit it, but this just makes it seem like as they lie there together, aubrey is remembering all the pain, and then it just sort of fades away. idk if that makes sense, but thats what it seemed to me.

I didn't like this movie. It was confusing and made no sense for me. Like in the movie, aubrey/dakota is trying to explain the amputations and what not in a very weird way. Dakota is tryin to say she cut her finger off at work on glass? WTF! I think that Aubrey is tryin to take on the life of the girl in her story b/c she is in denial of what happened to her, and in denial of her ampuations/disabilities.

i know it's complicated. i'll try 2 explain though. Aubrey & Dakota are twins. This virginia moss person gives birth to them at the same time the flemings gave birth. but the flemings actual daughter died in the incubator. so mr fleming raised 1 of virginia's children as his own and paid her money through the mail. the girl that the driver found was dakota because the killer accidently took the wrong girl. so he dressed her in blue so everyone thought she was aubrey. i hope that helps. lol.

One: what I understood is that Mr Nosquist (the killer) doesn't pick "any" woman. He picks the ones who "failed to him", meaning, for example Aubrey who wanted to quit Piano Lessons. ?cuz, as the movie says "Blue are for winner" and all that stuff ... Figure that everything bout him and Aubrey was blue.

Two: he didn't make anyone believe that Dakota was Aubrey

i think the entire story was an essay that the REAL Aubrey was reading in class. and the reason its story line is choppy is because she's an amateur writer. in the essay/story there really was a twin(the stigma-twin thing) and Dakota found Aubrey at the end of the story. thats all there is to it.

I Saw the movie "Chuck and Larry" .."I know who killed me" is a better movie, probabley the best movie of summer 2007, the movie is not about a twin named Dakota, that is just a decoy plot. The movie is about Aubrey and how she uses her imagination to escape the pain of torture and solve the mystery of who is killing her. Your ending is actually better for explaining this to some viewers.
