there is another reason... Actually Al-Qaeda is quite useful to China - it directs world attention (and particularly the US's attention) away from what the Communists do and also gives them a nice excuse to get ride of all those nasty Muslims and Uhigurs in their country.
And in return Al-Qaeda gets some nice new weapons so as to make sure they can distract the worlds attention a bit longer...

(1) In the first day of the riot, Hans mobs DID NOT killed any Uighurs. However, your millary police DID killed many Uighurs indiscriminately (thousands), during that mass killing, a hundred or so of Hans were also killed.
(2) Before Urumqi riot, Hans mobs DID killed many Uighurs in Shaoguan. Go see the video youself (not only two!).
(3) Hans Mobs DID kill many Uighurs on the second day of the riot.
Your Hans mobs did started all of these, and your police did killed Uigurs in the first day.

there is another reason... Actually Al-Qaeda is quite useful to China - it directs world attention (and particularly the US's attention) away from what the Communists do and also gives them a nice excuse to get ride of all those nasty Muslims and Uhigurs in their country.
