Yes there is no racial democracy in Latin America. There is no such thing as a racial democracy when all of the black people are on the bottom and all the white looking people are on the top.

The AA population is not a race it is an ethnic group that consist of BLACK and "BIRACIAL/MULATTO/MIXED RACE/MIXED" people

Therefore all the people he listed are AA

Obama is NOT an African American. He is BIRACIAL/MULATTO/MIXED RACE/MIXED.

Also his father was NOT even AA. His father is from Kenya. So he does NOT qualify as African American.

He does NOT share the same history and cultural upbringing as that of native USA born black or AA populations of USA.

Even if he was raised among his father he still does NOT qualify as AA.

AAs are often misrepresented by that by other blacks.

@chsn09 he was a black man that grew up in america, his father was never really around so technically he is african american. there are many biracial people in america but white people still classify them as black

@2Baiforev Barack Obama is mixed, biracial, multiracial. He can claim part blackness since he has a father who perhaps can be racially classified as 'black'. Obama is NOT African American. He is not the same as those classified as African American or sociopolitically black in the USA! Most whites really do not care about how one self identifies. White people do NOT classify him as black. Often times it's BLACK people that classify him as black. Obama is just as much white as he is black.

Your talking about afro latino's but your talking only about spanish speaking latinos what about that haitians which is also afro latino which has the same culture of the other latino the only difference is that we are MOST proud of our african background you talked about brazil. Dont you think ur leaving something out. It is crazy to think that a person doesnt look at someone as black because they werent born in the US. Slaves didnt only for to the USA. They went to the Caribbean first.
