  • interesting video and very informative

  • i went there with my college just next to it is an egg they charge £1 to make it work........... all it did was pop out of its egg and go back into nothing else lol ¬.¬

  • Anybody know if its on show again,it was closed when I went? =( .

  • I fucking shat my pants when I saw this as a kid

  • There was a period in which dinosaurs were more interested in masturbation than in meeting dinosaur girls, so God decided to shorten their arms to prevent the lack of births. -->T-Rex

... in any case it didn't work....

  • i went there and its kind of scary

  • Look at its ridiculus small hands !! HA HA HA No wonder evolution gave it big mouth to pick up food.

  • when i was little i was a dinosaur freak (still am nowdays), my folks took me here as a 5 year old. i was too scared to walk past it, so dad said i had to run when it wasn't looking at me lol.

  • Realistic animatronics. I really want to see one of these with my own eyes.

  • Been there when I was 14, my best museum experience to this day.

  • Haaa I remember before they re-vamped it... it was so jerky and rubbish. I was still terrified of it of course but... damn.

  • Lol i went there today for a school trip... Sooo boring

  • This looks like fun lol :)

  • I loved that exhibit!!

Plus it is the most interesting musuim that I have been to so far! :P

  • i been here it so cool one of the best museums i have ever been to.

  • yea that one was creepy it was all looking at ,me

  • Haha I remember when I went to see this I was only 5 and I crapper myself lol

  • i went to go see dis today my lil sis freaked

  • It's really cool. They keep changing the dinosaur exhibit there, though. I've been several times over the past 10-15 years (since I was a kid!) and it's constantly changing. They used to do a really cool live show with many different dinosaurs, and they also used to have this kind of raised walkway which took you through several scenes (culminating with the T-Rex) and in 2007 they had this exhibition with just the T-rex's head.

It's still quite scary, to be honest!

    And it's free =)

  • I think I may need to find an excuse to visit London again soon. :) This looks brilliant, and definitely one of the most lifelike animatronics I've seen so far!

  • hey, i saw this adorable cutie just a few days ago, on wednesday.

  • Oh my gosh!!! Pause at 1:33!!!!!!!!!!

  • @catzcool2323 trust me, it's even scarier when you're in front of that thing, facing it straight in the eye. when i went to see him, it was looking straight into my eyes and i genuinely felt as though it was going to charge at me.

    it's cute though.

  • @LOLOLZ24 Oooh, scary. I wish I could see it! I live in Utah.

  • How do you know it's a life size juvenile?

  • @18151821 It's 3/4 the size of an adult so is the approximate size of a young T-Rex.

  • This thing is awesome.

On a college trip here my friend took a picture of me standing in front of it's head, and I posed like I was going 'AFGGHFGHGHG DINOSAUR!' XD

  • wow true or fake if its fake i will not sub but coll dinosaurs

  • I went there with my cousin and bro, and I was really scared lol, I was about 8. Memories;)

  • coool :D

  • life size???

  • It's a life size juvenile, so an adult would be bigger.

  • @pvtsmith29 I think adolescent would be the more appropriate term.

  • This exhibit is awesome, but if you want to see it, you have to visit this when it is not the school holidays. The kids just completely cram it up and the queue just doesn't move.

  • that thing should be in a zoo!

  • im going to the museum again 2morrow 4 the 10th time but the time i mainly remember was my first time i was in year 1 and we went there for a school trip and i was so scared of the dino bit i held my teachers hand then when we saw that T-Rex i started crying and hugging the teacher because i thought it was real , now whenever i go past the T-Rex i run past it coz i have to admit its still quite freaky and seems like it always looks at you in the eye lol (soz 4 the long comment) :D

  • @amytyler101 (myself lol) im 12 years old btw

  • Imagine if these dinosaurs still existed! O.o

  • ugly turkey

  • there were police there at the 27th of december does anyone know why and i mean loads of police

  • siiickkkk

  • Lol I remember when I went to see it with my parents! This thing is motion sensitive and anyone who went near the barriers it roared at! Anyway, there was just us watching it and my mum wanted to take my picture whilest I was leaning against the barriers. So I did as she asked and she took the photo. But then I was frozen. My parents stood there in shock. I did not dare turn around. I stood there, I could hear a sniffing sound effect and I could feel cold air breathing down my neck...

  • reminds me of my wife when she catches me drinking milk out of the bottle.

  • and it is modelled on a teenage T-rex...no where near fully grown!!! Still remember watching a young girl mocking it when i was there and as the T-Rex is motion sensitive it tracked her mocking and then roared at her!!!!

Needless to say she didn't do it again!!

  • Shit dude....................o-o

  • scaaaaary is that from the muyseum?cool

  • Yeah if you go to London you MUST go there it is an amazing museum, Im from mexico and went less than a month ago

  • Wow, that's so cool ;D

  • He looks so REAL! I wish I could pet him :D

  • wow im gowing to see him

  • omg i would shit myself, i have this strange thing were i am really scared of animatronic dinosaurs like fake ones, especially if theyre on a water ride, ahh!

But i liove jurassic park and that.

i think i wud rather meet a real dino than a fake!

    lol x

  • that is really cool! it looks real!

  • The Academy of Natural Science in Philadelphia has an actual Tyrannosaurus Rex skeleton

  • So Does the Natural History museum in London, among Stegosauruses, Triceratops and others. This is just an exhibit to give visitors an idea of the scale etc of the beasts by making them interactive.

  • This T-rex is still the best dinosaur animatronics that I have seen exhibited to the public for now. Hopefully there will be better ones, its legs still look pretty stiff.

  • lol i go there all the time relly fun

  • I could just about hear the t-rex when i last went a few months ago...

too many little children and babies crying in fear. LOL XD

Actually i was one of them. 0.0

  • I went to this museum when I was 7

The dinosaurs were fuckin scary at the time

  • i love that museum i have been there lots of times but i have NEVER seen all of it. i love the wale ITS HUGE!!!!

  • I queued for almost a hour to get into this place today :/ the t-rex did look pretty realistic though.

  • :D im hopefully going there on friday, ive been before, but i was young and didn't appreciate it

    btw

come check out our vids xx

  • sweet im going tomorrow lololololololololoLololololololo

  • LOL my grandad used to be a night watchmen at this museum and he had 2 clean up in this area at night!!!

  • f***** ripoff they sell 330 ml coke for 1:95

  • oh, I used to have one of them! :D But he ate all my gerbils, so I cut his head off and stuck it over my fireplace. Then the wall collapsed :(

(serious note, I been there and it a great museum :D)

  • I love this museum . I've been there about 20 times now and I want to go again..... :D

  • I LUUUURVE This museum. We went last month and my Mum goes 'Look! Its a real dinosaur, Hazel!' As a joke, and the little girl in fornt of us was like 'Mummy is that real?!!' LOL. I Love London. =[ I wanna live there. x

  • Wow

  • I-went-there-when-i-was-5!-Now-I-am-11-ah,the-memories.

  • ooooh i saw that today, sum werid guy kept brigin his daughter closer to the rex even though she was proper scared

  • Wow i Rember when i went der me and ma sis was so scared .........?

  • thats one of my favourite places to go in the natural histrory museum thank you for dounloading that I've added it to my favourites

  • thundersrose. IT WAS LOOKING AT YOU!. the t-rex at the NHM has state of the art tracking devices in its eyes. a bit like TRACKIR technology. so sleep well tonight knowing the rex wanted u for lunch muahahahahaha.

  • i remember seeing this t rex in trafalger square when i was little - went to see it today at the nhm

    was brilliant

  • i say that today! my teacher strted sceaming lol!

  • Hehe I saw this exhibit just yesterday, at one point i jumped cause he suddenly moved his head, looked like he was looking at me.

  • Near the entrance of NHM there's a cyclope skull. Does anybody know what that is? Is that real? I'd like to know more about that.

Also, this dinosaur was awesome, it looked so real. I loved NHM!

  • The hole in the middle of the skull, which was originally beleived to be an eye socket, has proved to be nothing more than where an elephant like creature's trunk used to be. Easy to be fooled though!

  • Awesome, but where are the eye sockets then? Or is it just a part of the whole skull?

  • Because elephants eyes are on the side of the head and not the front, there aren't any eye sockets, just indentations at the side. Hope this helps. By the way T-Rex is awesome!

  • I now have another reason to go to london

    1.Daniel Radcliffe lives there

    2.Daniel Radcliffe in Equus ;)

    3.Big Ben

    4.Natural History Museum

  • was there today see it today lol, but i was on the website and this isnt a modelof a full grown t rex its actually a teenage t rex and i thought it was smaller than i expected too, they used to have an adult one but removedit and replaced it with this teenage one coz it was more realistic but they shudda just made a more realistic adult 1

  • This is the best animatronic dino I've ever seen. Completely real looking and convincing. Great variety of motions and "vocalizations". Check it out if you are in London.

  • i saw an exhibit like that when i was a kid. the t-rex was red though and HUGE! what was really cool is they ahd a woolly mamoth there too with real fur from an actual frozen mammoth! it was really thick and sorta oily.

  • i went der 2dai

  • is this that walk of the dinosaurse thing?

  • No. It's an animatronic model.

  • @pvtsmith29 I'm 18 and I was scary lol

  • it really seams real

  • went there the other day it scared my mates kids they thought it was real lol
