  • what would you say are the best breaks to scratch to? I notice you use a lot of Jazzy stuff and that seems to work well. I like to use this Quasimoto 12 inch I have but the beats can be kind of overpowering lol.

  • @TheAnonymousAnomie hey the ones you love best! Old funky breaks and hip hop beats work well for me, but stuff with space so you can fit in the scratches without it sounding too messy are things I bear in mind.

  • effortless! i love your style of scratching cause its still something you can bob your head to.

  • @raze94 thanks! I'm glad you think that, thats what i want!

  • RESPECT!!!!!! am loving it at 1:18 onwards... all your scratch vids are very imformative too cheers

  • @santaclause163 thanks for watching!

  • where do you get the song tracks?

  • ur amazing!!!

  • How do u make the skill with right hand (0:58)

  • @JeffAngel100 hey thats the chirp scratch. Check out the tutorial I created for it only my channel. I think thats the scratch you mean. If not, then its the crab scratch also check the tutorial for it. Thanks!

  • I read breast...Silly me. Nice skills!

  • @madmixerZ3N0 that is pretty funny if mildly inappropriate! ha ha!

  • sweet im still rocking my pmc06 too!

  • I like the shirt and the skills.

  • I think I'm in love

  • Good skills :) What is the scratch at 00:47?

  • @controllerismdj hello, I call it the Short-e special scratch. search my videos for a breakdown! and be sure to check out the main site, i just opened my new members site that teaches week by week.

  • @studioscratches thanks I do like that one :) Keep up the good work

  • The shirt don't lie yo!

  • What record are u using in this vid?

  • @MrKnaberaps superseal

  • FUCKEN DOPE!!!

  • miss (?), you are awesome

  • alright this might sound really dumb but can you sample two records at a time

  • @Ruudybeats801 not sure what you mean by sample - you can scratch one on each deck.

  • @studioscratches like scratch bolth at a time and still have it sound good

  • @Ruudybeats801 you could but you wouldn't be able to use the crossfader as both your hands would be on the record. Most people scratch on one side.

  • this is rad! yew!

  • For a FEMALE to be THIS DOPE and me watching your TUTORIALS!! DUDE your DOPE!!!!!!!

  • thats awsome.......no no wait that was sexy!....a true woman!

  • WOW.... a beautiful girl that can scratch SIIIIICK!!!!

  • She is sexy and skilled

  • Fair play Short-E. You're rude ;)

  • Unbelievable scratching. Massively impressed. It's not often you see DJ's trying scratching like this and consistently pulling off every single scratch, even each triplet of the crab scratch, perfectly in time. I notice you've got your cross fader reversed - would you recommend all DJ's do that if they wanna get this good at scratching?

  • @doymon hey no reverse isn't necessary at all you can learn either way. I just prefer it. Bonus I can teach it that way in my video tutorials. - Short-E

  • Oh lol. I always thought that in your videos it was a little boy doing the demos. Makes sense why you have a high voice now

  • A YEAH!!!

  • I Love this girle__!!!Peace!!!!

  • @alexdelgiudice1 about 4-6 hours a day

  • @studioscratches holy shit i guess i got some catching up I've finally a good mixer about 4 months ago and i get about 6 hrs a week. where you from?

  • @alexdelgiudice1 bridgwater, UK

  • @studioscratches did you mainly practice scratching or did you start immediately with beatjuggling because I'm slowly getting into it

  • @alexdelgiudice1 i love scratching more than beat juggling. I never practice beatjuggling. its fun though. i do the basics somehow.

  • @kingkevboi67 mixer and record both online somewhere but I cant honestly remember the exact place. Could have been hard to find records. This was a promo vid for No Rival clothing who are one of my sponsors - Short-E

  • @studioscratches do you use the crossfader with your good hand or your bad hand?

  • @kingkevboi67 both my hands are good! I'm right handed and use that on the fader. some use their strong hand on the record and some on the crossfader. Do what feels best for you.

  • damn short -e you skillz are amazing. nice flow and many different scratch tricks. is this the famous record from q-bert? i dont remember the name of it...

  • DJ Short-E is actually Zoey from the highly popular video game "Left 4 Dead" and she been DJ'ing since BEFORE meeting Francis, Bill, Louis and the zombie apocalypse.

You see, she learned to handle weapons/firearms the day a zombie destroyed her prized turntable and vinyl records, she beasted on them and been killing zombies ever since.
