The first 3 are probably 3 of the best games I'll ever play. I bought this game for christmas 10 years ago when I was 11. I was freaked out playing it with my older sister every sunday when she visited but loved every minute of the game. Evokes so much emotion, I've never played a game like it. It's weird how such a disturbing, sick game means so much to someone haha.

Of all musical sound tracks....none get me emotionally as much as Silent Hill. They bring sorrow and saddness to the realization of Reality, that our world is not that diffrent from Silent Hill. We...humans...are our own monsters. Im a guy, and Silent Hill...makes me want to cry. Silent Hill, is the last true horror game alive. Alan Wake, is close but no cigar, Resident Evil has adapted to survive, Dead Space is just an adrenaline rush. Silent Hill...is art.

@BloodStoneCriminal So true… I was a Resident Evil fan first and didn't know anything about Silent Hill, but now that I exposed myself into the Silent Hill world/franchise, I love it (most likely) more than Resident Evil. In the stories of Silent Hill I found that there is truth but no logic.

@JGqWpGJ To be fair, Resident Evil was a true horror game in its day, though its trangression from horror to shooter started with #4. In my opinion Silent Hill is the Mother of Horror games, while Resident Evil would be the Father. (Gender I would say is a contributing basis on that but I dont want to sound sexist)

Although sad I found the Heavy Rain ending (SPOILER) in which Ethan is stood over his son's grave knowing it was his fault his son died and after that he shoots himself in sadness.

THAT was an incredibly sad part and I feel it should be the true ending to Heavy Rain.

Plus I feel like that ending most emphasises sacrifice about how much a father would go through to save their son.

@mikethegamer0 Pretty much my opinion on the series is that 1-3 and Shattered Memories are good. 4 is ok but really interesting so its worth a shot. Origins is not great so you should skip it. Homecoming is so bad you should pretend that it does not exist.

It's kind of funny... when you listen to the song on its own, you expect maybe a sad love scene. when you listen to the song while knowing its for a death scene, you think that its some gentle, dying in your sleep scene. Then you see the actual scene and hear the music, and it still somehow fits it perfectly.

I never played silent hill but after I saw the scene this went with I knew that I wanted to play it.

The game was sort of an emotional roller-coaster ride from feeling sad at this scene, to being "afraid" of the moneters, to being happy to beat the game.

it was fun the whole way.
