Britains Lord Balfour gave the land of Palestine to the Jews saying it was a land without people for a people without land, but it was a lie. Bit by bit the Zionists took the land away from the Palestinians, so that now they have only 22 percent left of the original land. This is not the best land but the worst. Still the Israelis are not satisfied. They want all of it. First the Palestinians tried peaceful protests, now they try these bombs. That is the root of the problem.
@archdeacon> I still support Israel. People are just jealous or I'm not sure what is the reason they hate Israel, but they always make up lies about Israel and how they stole the land. THAT IS NOT TRUE! If you read the Bible (the history of the Earth) it will be really clear to you that G-d gave Canaan/Palestine/Israel to the Jews.
OK. All I can say is: go to independent, primary sources to get to the truth of the matter. I mean, for instance, investigative journalists who aren't embedded with the military, aid workers, weapons inspectors, whistle blowers, academic researchers and the like. Also go to multiple news sources on the Net and piece together bits of information to get a whole picture, checking refs and sources. Ignore the mainstream media. Learn to recognise linguistic techniques of persuasion. Peace.
This is something I'd be surprised if you knew about as it went virtually unreported in the Western mainstream media. The International Atomic Energy Authority (IAEA) recently passed a resolution calling on Israel to join the Non-Proliferation Treaty and open up its facilities to nuclear inspection. The US tried to block it. Having failed to block it, the US voted against it. It passed anyway. Israels response? Two fingers to the IAEA.
OK, but what's your take on this? Whenever Israel attacks schools etc, the IDF say militants were hiding in them. Palestinians say the IDF deliberately targeted citizens. Who so we believe? Well, on 6 Jan 09, a girls school was attacked (40 civilians killed, 55 injured). The United Nations Relief and Works Agency happened to be on the spot. They investigated, questioning survivors, including UN workers at the school. There were no militants. The IDF story was a lie. Watch ?v=74DfOGErKwg
Do you believe the IDF lies? Do you believe that the army of a civilized country such as Israel would make a priority of killing citizens? What, do they randomly fire at schools for fun?
Would you like to see a translated version of "Ruah Zahal" (The IDF's moral code, studied by every Israeli soldier), would you like to compare the principles there to the principles of Hizbollah? of the Koran?
@Arik1989 Do I believe the IDF lies? Most assuredly, I do. Do I think governments lie. Most decidedly yes. Certainly, I know that my own government (UK) lies. Do I think Israel would kill citizens? Most regretfully, yes. For fun? No, NOT for fun. Would I like to see the Ruah Zahal? No, because I am not disputing its content. Would I like to compare the principles (moral code) there to the principles of Hizbollah? Yes, please.
@archdeaconj Look, there's lying, and there's lying. Saying there are armed men in a civilian building just to take it down is a huge way from lying about curroption and the such.
Now just as an example: One of the principles of IDF is "Tohar Haneshek" , meaning purity of arms - Here's the first sentence, translated loosely: "The soldier will use his weapon and force only to carry out his mission,no more than nessisary, and will remain humane even in midst of battle..."
@archdeaconj@archdeaconj Look, there's lying, and there's lying. lying about armed men in a civilian building just to take it down (why?) is a huge way from lying about curroption and the such.

Just look for hezbollah on google or youTube and you'll easily find a news broadcast of Nasrallah officially declaring how Israel should not exist and all "Zionists" should die.
@Arik1989 You have cited a passage from the IDF code of conduct but not anything from the Hisbollah equivalent. Did Nasrallah actually say that? I am sceptical. Ahmadinejad was widely reported as saying Israel should be wiped off the map, and it turned out - I looked into this - he was talking about the Israeli REGIME (rezhim-e) and said nothing about any map. The onus is on you to provide the quotation, since it's your point.
@archdeaconj I appearantly reposted the same thing again and again, damn windows bugs :) I apologize.
Anyway, here's a little quote: "The Zionist entity can be wiped out of existence," Nasrallah said in his address via video link, referring to Israel. "Our nation is stronger now than ever before," he added.
This is from Haarez.com, now you can say whatever you'd like, but no one in Israel ever talked about completely wiping the entire Palestenian people.

That idiot above does not represent the overwhelming bulk of people in Poland (if he genuinely is from Poland).
The neo Nazis are a completely spent force in this country and this pathetic moron is just using foul language to make up for his own pscyhological, sexual or other difficulties - like all racists.
Just another case of "mainstream" media-terrorist unity. The media is not eager for news, it's eager for dumping on Israel. Whatever bad thing it can say about Israel, even with minimal evidence, it will say, anything good about Israel it will hide.

in such a politically volatile climate, where Israel has stolen much more land than its internationally-recognized '67 borders, building such ramp in these premises is to instigate, agitate and in return retaliate after crisis erupts: typical Zionist strategy. Ur coma-stricken Sharon did the same, walking into the mosque with armed guards to 'pray' there, he claims
All the Arab leaders in the area approved this ramp but once the construction started they taught it is again a god excuse for doing terror acts. And as you see they got support form international media.
I doubt leaders in other countries had any say whatsoever. But my point remains. Why build it. Why not have a solution like at the Holy Sepulchre church?
