@easthooligunz Longhair cats, like Winston, can get incredibly matted and stinky if left to their own devices. With their awesome sense of smell, living like that can get uncomfortable. They need bathed occasionally and brushed regularly. Winston is clearly very well looked after :)

Aw poor thing. I think he was a bit startled by the sound of the running water, and might be happier with a non-slip mat in there so he can stand comfortably. He's not going to like baths but you can make it less scary for him.

My cat is an indoor/outdoor cat, and she is bathed once a month, because she collects fleas and dirt and all kinds of things she can't clean off herself.

@merderouslonewolf He said in the description that the cat smelled. When cats bathe themselves, they use spit, which is from their mouths which are never really clean. After a few weeks of using spit that is probably contaminated with cat food and other biological gunk, the cat will start to smell. Not to mention, what do most cats use to go to the bathroom? Litterboxes are nasty. It's just how it goes. There's also the possibility that the cat got into something that would make him smell.
