  • great video..

  • The other guys brought be here

  • DONT LISTEN TO ALL THE HATERS THE FISH ENDED UP IN THE FUCKING BOAT DIDNT IT GREAT JOB GUYS

  • Now this is fishing ive only catched a well cod and a samon who werent that big in my opinion an put them back because i dont like eating fish i just enjoy it lol good catch

  • Thats a gorgeous Tuna. Ignore the haters,

  • These guys fucking suck a stickig the fish. You should see the deck hands on SD boats over at Cali they get 300lb YFTs in like 10secs.

  • im from nz an have wrked on a number of tuna boats, all i can say is good on u boys,a trophy like that is a memory 4 a life time.Dee x ichi an zambucca

  • peace off shit

  • i cought a 1,243lb tuna there. i have is in a spare freezer

  • 300kgs are just estimates because NZ sport fishermen employ Tag& Release fishing. Just like most responsible sport fishermen do i guess. There are 100's of these in a very small area of water. If that crew behaved like this in NZ you would get no respect no matter the size of the catch. No don't go to NZ you would be laughed at. BTW this is no Giant.

  • lol...ok you want to see real fish come to New Zealand, this ones a good size I will admit, while your at it bring your crew we'll show you how to bring one aboard a boat quickly and with less stress to the fish...."harpoon him harpoon him, he's to damn big to worry about lol" I hope that wasn't the skipper. Average Blue fin caught here is near on the 250kgs (550LBS mark) the big ones getting upto and excess of 300ks (660LBS).

    new zealand boy

this one went 750 pounds on the hooff

  • lmao at the new zealand commeent....if u want (giant bluefin tuna)come to Nova Scotia....the grow up to 1300 to 1400 lbs...this is where the world record was caught...this little tuna they caught isnt even mature enough to reproduce..its a damn shame is what it is..

  • spot on i have a friend who was a runa fisherman many years ago and he told me in nova scotia when the blue fin use to break the water in a frenzy it sounded like a train was headed towards you,get out of the way,he said they were common over the 1000lb mark....thats a big fish.

  • very nice fish!!!

where was it? i'll be soon with my rods in the neighbourg of Nex caledonie, vanuatu, fiji and searching for fishing!

  • dumb rednecks

  • Both the capt and the guys in the cockpit are not very good. They had a gaff that I'd use for yellowfin, I counted at least 8 missed gaff shots.

With a stick anyone in New England that has fished for these things would have had the fish stuck before the video even started.

  • so it was my first - but I guess you were born fucking perfect.

  • it makes no sense at all to keep the boat moving like that. that was keepin the fish alive so long they were forcing water(oxygen) through his gills...

you guys just don't get it - you want the meat fresh as it is headed to Japan - not all burnt up like a worn out sprinter......

  • Tuna will give you B.O. for a few days but its worth it.

  • Nice fish!! In the middle of all the comotion the last thing you want to do is let the fish go. And by the time you saw it you stuck it. Many people never see a fish that big in there life.

  • Well for how long can this fisherie handle the duress of the worlds desire for raw tuna? not being an alarmist just wondering?

  • i hate americans

  • I hate you.

  • We Hate You Too,lmao

  • so apparently bluefins can sell well over $50,000 american dollars in the japanese fish market... its times like this that i question perusing academics at all......

  • hmmmm, just saying

ITS a fucking fish there are millions even billions of them, taking them wont hurt anything! go away you good for nothing hippies and go eat your damn veggie burgers

  • amen brother

  • yea! for real

  • Tunas are almost extinct! When they go extinct you will be owndering why no tun a is on your plate! Lay off the tuna and eat trout, bass, catfish, or salmon! If you switch to those fish and help to stop overfishing, peta fags won't annoy you anymore!

  • wow you uneducated noob

there are millions even billions of them?

    do some research then comment

Bluefin tuna are close to extinct

  • Well, Bluefins are very threatened in the Eastern Atlantic. The Western Atlantic stock is in better shape but the stocks intermix, so there is much pressure from America and Canada on ICCAT, the European body that regulates Atlantic Tunas, to impose stricter catch restrictions on the Eastern Fleet.

  • Well don't forget the illegal Asian fishing vessels that poach near caribbean nations and other parts of the Western Atlantic. If you take a trip to the Bahamas you will see pieces of their nets washing up on shore.

  • Thats one expensive fish!

  • I can not believe, you think the same as i do.

  • are american people not allowed to use an electric shocker for this?

  • That's a big son of bitch

  • hey gbop63 shut the fuck up even if alittle baby i still take it mother fucker

  • Pretty sad. Harpoon him if you have to???? WTF? Do you think this is a Great White? You idiots. That fish took 14 years to get that big and you snuffed it out in 1/2 hour. Two words: CATCH & RELEASE

  • thats 3 idiot

  • dboop63 catch and release on a fish like that...fuck no! Do you know how much a fish like that will sell for if you have a commercial license or know someone who does? A few THOUSAND dollars, and I for one having a commercial license and federal fishing permit would not throw a few thousand dollars you retard.

  • or if u know someone who does...what a stupid statement that is....no one but the license holder may sell that fish...typical american attitude..

  • GREAT VIDEO _ u think it'll make anyone change thier vot?

  • WOW What a small bluefin, i swear i have seen bigger yellowfin caught here on the west coast of the USA, bigger than that tiny bluefin. And the people on the boat are acting like its the biggest bluefin ever caught. This video sucks, and so does the crew and that annoying woman on the video as well.

  • As an avid tuna fisherman you think thats a small blue fin tuna? ive caught big yellow fin as well as giants you are a prick and have no clue what your talking about.

  • yea, i'm sure you have cought a 100" long yellowfin you fucking idiot. This was a great fish for the waters of NC.

  • he's a huuuunndred inches, leave him in the water a little longer next time you might come back with just 15 inches. idiots

  • U gunna eat or sale that?????? damn waste of a magnificent specimen if u killed it for the sake of sport....blue fins heading towards the endangerd list.

  • Congratulations boys, that is a fish and a half, in anyones language, huh?

    Cheers

    GV

  • I DON'T LIKE TROLLING

  • you guys are pathetic.....that is not how to land a fish.....i cant believe you are proud of that

  • That's not fishing if you have to use 130 test.. I could have reeled that wanker in on Momoi Diamond 40# and a 6 pack..

  • Thats not fishing??? It sure as hell isnt bowling.

  • wow 100 inches

  • @superomega thats what she said

  • makes me want a tuna, onion and mayo sandwich, ummmmm yum

  • Wow i sure miss tuna fishin. Hell of a fish.

  • Why in gods name would you say that? Us "yanks" release most of the big game fish we fight. Not to mention our strick fishing regulations. We even have a 200 mile limit on our shores for alot of species to keep you "euro's from strip mining our waters now that you've decimated your owm.

  • I'm from Europe and... You're quite right! We fished the sea to death.

  • Yeah, Those stupid albainians lol

  • Yeah they are stupid with their white hair, pale skin and red eyes... oh hang on!
