I was there and the sound on this vid is better than it was at the time from what I remember. Metallica got the worst sound of the day and Bon Jovi arrived by helicopter during Metallica's set, right over the crowd. They knew they were gettin blown away

It was a piss wet day, Metallica were on after WASP I think, and they were awesome. I used to have a live cassette tape of their set, wish I still had it.

I agree I was also there, & the sound wasn't brilliant, plus we could hardly see them. Bon jovi weren't good either, & we were some of the thousands who left half way through their set, thinking they had finished. Good atmosphere though, & always good fun dodging bottles of piss.

I was there, I remember Bon Jovi hovering overing the crowd in their helicopter during Metallica's set. The sound here is better than i remember it, it sounded crap at the time. Didn't stop Metallica blowin every other band away tho
