  • So if you do not have the surgery and if have had it over 10 years, Will it kill you. Some one please answer. No joke.

  • I’m a surgeon myself, but I knew very little about how Moh’s surgery is performed.

I have to say: after watching this video, I am very unimpressed. You really are not utilizing any new techniques or technology whatsoever, and you are still removing tissue in fairly significant amounts.

It completely blows my mind that there is actually a fellowship for this beyond a derm residency. Any surgeon who has the equipment to prepare slides can perform this.

  • Wonderful! I've just nursed two men who had nose reconstruction after a Moh's procedure in our hospital in Queensland. Both men now have a second chance.

  • I've been puzzled by Mohs surgery until now. Good job

  • me gusta

  • I would liked to have seen this face after it healed.

  • @PuganPoo look in a mirror

  • extremely disgusting but very interesting

  • @sweepswoop

You couldn't be more wrong.... There is NOTHING disgusting about it. Sure the people working get paid but, to dedicate your life to helping someone remove a tumor or beat skin cancer is the work of beauty. I see NOT ONE THING disgusting here.

  • @ithrowtdz you're right it's beautiful. im just saying its pretty graphic. jeez.

  • @sweepswoop

I know, I just love being a douche

  • @sweepswoop It's rare to see something this graphic on YouTube, but I find this to be the most helpful video I've yet found. And I'm a nurse with sixteen years of experience, trying to figure out how to explain the process better to my Mom (And maybe, to suggest a better treatment center than the one she's at) and Dad. Though, I expect this video would make my Dad pass out. ;-)

  • @ithrowtdz They are very talented too as they often put people back together with minimal scars.

I'm just amazed at the work doctors, nurses, surgeons etc do. A lot of them devote their life to researching and genuinely helping people.

  • @urbex2007

Yeah and I'm planning on being a histo tech.... So I'll be staining slides like in the vid YEAH!!!!

  • Great! :)

  • This was great.....thanks!

  • Thanks!

  • Excellent.
