We are having a great discussion on this video and others like it concerning the land of Yam and Saharan paintings of what looks to be a forerunner of the Kemetian monster Ammit very instersting video.
Is it possible the beast could very well be a now extinct animal? I'm sure there were plenty of creatures and beasts around back then that are no longer in existence. We're talking about a deeply prehistoric time period. Predating Ancient Egypt by thousands of years itself possibly.
Cool video and nice quality Saharan art is fascinating stuff. In Egypt they have the Qurta rock drawings that are 15,000 years old as well there mostly engravings of Wild Cattle not too many people depicted though but still nice.
the "beast" is obviously a chocolate lab-husky mix... if I were to draw on my walls, right now, it would look very much the same. (she gets cranky if her dinner is late...)
@heritagekeymedia..Amazing video. Thanks. How old is the oldest known cave paintings site?

Interesting paintings here. Anyone know if the new Prehistoric Channel will carry content like this, or will is just be creatures and animals.

I used to have a pet beast like that.
I think the beast was simply giving the people a haircut. Just because it's big and scary, doesn't insinuate death, ya know.

Those swimmers look at bit like me before I got my first swim HUD. ;)
They always say the first publication on swimming only appeared in the 16th century, but this must definitely be a guide how to dog paddle! ;)

Such stunning colours, it looks like Mars - but with slightly better cave paintings!
