Do you people realize what an amazing bunch of musicians DT is? Everything they do is a masterpiece. This band is the standard by which all other progressive bands are judged. There is no style or sound they don't incorporate and their music is legendary. I show stuff like this to friends and sit and look at them as their jaws drop on the floor. This is musicianship at it's finest. If you have some troll comment then run your stupid head... you'll never have anything this incredible to offer.

On December 29, 1994, while vacationing in Cuba, LaBrie got a severe case of food poisoning and while vomiting, ruptured his vocal cords. He saw three throat specialists who all said there was nothing they could do for him and the only thing he could do was rest his voice as much as possible. However, on January 12, 1995, and against doctor's orders, he was on the "Awake" tour in Japan with his voice far from normal. James has said he didn't feel vocally "normal" until at least 1997.

labrie damaged his vocal cords early in his career with DT (perhaps before), the doctor suggested him taking a break, but he stuck to the band...i think it was either train of thought or octavarium when his doctor said that his vocal cords was "fully healed"

Great performance, but this is the "commercial"+label influenced DT period. This was by the time everybig band had to have an MTV-type unplugged to survive. Check out the Score 2nd DVD where they talk about it. Scenes from a memory was DT's resurrection!

This has not even been officialy released. There is only one good bootleg of this, plus some songs on a fanclub christmas cd. Also, this performance was for a fanclub day, so it was just a kind of present to their fans. So it's definitely not been forced upon them by the label in order to survive.

No - Demos and Singles unite is not an official DT CD, is a fan-made compilation. This was going to be on Falling into Infinity and you can hear it on the demo version of that album. Tis also on "Clearing out the Closet" 1999 Fan Club Christmas CD (It might also be on the 1998 ONCE in a LIVETime outtakes live fanclub christmas CD but I'm not sure)
