@harrisonfanalways Really? This is self produced - why call him a "trooper". My guess is he liked the sound of his voice as hoarse as it was. The public didn't. I like it. It has a Joe Cocker sound to it and George liked Joe Cocker. He allowed Joe to record his best song (Something) before the Beatles did.
Definitely not the best album of George, but certainly one of the most underrated as well!
