@harold3456 The sequel was utter crap. It didn't have this song in it, rubbidh storyline and annoying new actors (except John Goodman) and it's not rhe same without John Belushi. Dan Aykroyd said himself that John really was like a real brother to him and at first turned down the sequel but he wanted it to be a tribute but unfortunately it turned out to be a horrific mess. The original is classic, the sequel is turd.

@FlightsimmerFMO There is a whole backstory to the movie and the band. Basically Jake and Elwood are orphans. The janitor at the orphanage taught them blues music, they adopted each other as brothers, and changed their last name to "Blues".
