  • The Fabulous Rag-Dew Sisters!

  • Ray Rougeau is so awesome, just by his looks alone he could guide 3 different teams to multiple Stanley Cups.

  • omg I remember this, I actually cried!! (I was only 12)

  • Michaels and Jannetty sang their own theme song as a tag team too? I thought their theme didn't have lyrics

  • You gotta be crazy, you idiot.. that's horrible..

FIrst of all, who has the RIGHT, and the NERVE to take off the fabulous Rougeau brothers music, man.. ...and put that GARBAGE on there..

    cdfu..

    -.-

  • TONY being there makes the Rockers' theme tune THE GREATEST IN HISTORY!

  • I heard that you wouldn't want to get into a fist fight with Ray I heard he was a gold glover

  • The rougeau brosthers should have been given a tag-team title reign.

  • "Get him a bowl of soup because he won't be eating any meat anytime soon!" Bobby Heenan cracks me the hell up.

  • @Jacbill63 Heenan and Monsoon made a great time.

  • This makes today's wrestling look so bland.

  • punch him? kick him? nahhh plastic megaphone time!!! foreign object!!!

  • So, when did the Mcgirk get fazed out for Lillian? Sorry if I spelled the name wrong

  • @trunkmonke1980

Mike McGuirk actually left around 1994 or so. So that was long before Lilian came around.

  • fucking whatever >.<

  • Wow, I do not remember the Rockers' theme ever having lyrics.

These are the two best teams to never win the titles.

  • @leper73 The funny thing is that both teams actually did win the tag titles at different times (August of '87 for the Rougeaus, and October of '90 for the Rockers, ironically against the Hart Foundation in both cases) only for the WWF to nullify the match shortly after and give the belts back to the Harts both times. This feud really did produce some awesome matches, though.

  • Ray Rougeau should have cut more promos for the team, that was awesome

  • ha ha haha ahh aha! "Oh, look at that, their music cut out." "Oh, must be a power failure or something . . . "

  • As a kid, I remember my uncle going to a WWF Show in Oct 89 at Nassau Coliseum where it was Rockers v Rougeaus in a 60 Minute Iron Man Match! He had good seats and has some photos from that very match. It would be amazing to see that match today. It's a shame there were not any cameras rolling for it! Anyway, The Rockers won the match which went into 65 minutes overtime! I would have loved to see what an iron man match looked like in 89. Would've been historic if given that length of tv time!

  • I remember reading somewhere how Jimmy Hart hated Hulk Hogan's theme song (probably during one a feud Hogan had with one of his Hart's men)...which is ironic, since Hart wrote it, lol

  • Growing up, I was a die hard Rockers fan. I so enjoyed seeing them in action.

  • I was 11 and I remember it! So many years ago! :(

  • a young HBK and Earl Hebner.

  • @Kaynos : All these men featured here are now legends. (Except for Marty Janetti). Jacques Rougeau appeared on CTV News and spoke out against street gangs. Raymond Rougeau became a sports announcer for RDS. (A French Sports channel) HBK is in the WWE Hall Of Fame. Earl Hoeppner is still a ref in TNA. I don't know what happened to Jimmy Hart, but I think he is Hall of Fame bound. Too bad the 3rd Rougeau brother, Armand did not make it to the WWF. Long live these legends!

  • @SurvivorPaul16 Jimmy Hart is in the Hall Of Fame.

  • @SurvivorPaul16 I totaly agree with you my friend. BTW, Armand did receive an offer from the WWF at the same time his Brothers go theirs. However a back injury prevented him to join them in the WWF as he was forced to retire.

  • Quin vlà des billets ! Pardon !

  • Can anyone say Savage/Steamboat from '86/'87?

  • the rockers sang their own music? and when was that WCW announcer in WWF?

  • @jmpowers83: 88-89.

  • I would like to hear better the Rockers All American boys version *.*

  • I don't know why, even though I called myself a Hulkamaniac as a kid, I always loved the tag teams in the 80's: the Fabulous Rougeaus, the British Bulldogs, the Hart Foundation, the Rockers, they were all so damn awesome.

  • That's what you get for wearing fluo clothes...

  • Im glad the Rougeaus nailed em. I never went for the rockers b.s. i really didnt. What woulda made this perfect is if Jacques woulda knocked shawn michaels teeth down his throat like he did to dynamite kid in real life.

  • lmao 1:10 to 1:13 is a good reason y u dont see jimmy hart as a judge on americas got talent and tony is like uh y am i here? and y is jimmy hart bitchin about the rockers music

  • hahahahahahahahaha

  • I love Gorilla's comment, "They don't even have a green card..."

  • This brings back memories.....you gotta love this man! The Ragu Sisters (cheap Demolition promo!).....I mean the Rougeau Brothers had a kick ass theme....

  • the rockers were just like the bushwhackers always jobbing to every new heel tag team and the only time they won matches were against jobbers or tag teams on their way out of the Wwf

  • good times

  • those were good times

  • The Rockers got what they deserved!!!

  • rougeau bros= so underrated!

  • @JRiggz108999 They should have been given a reign as tag-team champions.

  • @JRiggz108999 u got that right!

  • i never heard that rockers entrance theme..with singing?

  • The best part of this video is the Rockers singing.

  • Two great tag teams. That was an amazing time in the WWF.

  • oooo look! Shawn has all his hair!

  • aww man i saw this same match down here in el paso tx when i was a kid man they stole the show

  • haha the rougeau brothers used to get the crowd so wound up

  • I wish Mike McGuirk did the ring announcing minus the pants and done it broadway style.

  • ...with 2 such men as us....... hahaha

  • Oh and by the way...that ring announcer was brilliant, she had a great voice to introduce the wrestler...in my opinion much better than todays Lillian...

    Miss those days

  • who ever gave me a thumbs down on that, must be a new retarded fan who never exprienced and lived through the early 90's....that ring announcer was brilliant!!!

  • That's not saying much since Lillian is easily one of the worst ring announcers of all time.

  • I agree, Lillian is a bad announcer and screws up a lot, but her voice is much better than McGuirk's. She always sounded bored to me.

  • Ray Rougeau rules !

  • These two teams had alot of memorable matches during 1989 on the house show circuit

  • I remember this angle like it was yesterday, but it's been a while since I actually saw the footage. Thanks for posting.

  • The blonde at 3:25 looks totally traumatized.

  • I knew there was a Rockers theme for a short while with lyrics but could never find it. This has been bugging me for 18 years...thank you for posting

  • I never knew The Rockers' music had lyrics.

Don't worry Shawn, you're able to sing you're own theme music again in 4 years.

  • Hey you silly people, the rockers music did not have lyrics....it was just a one time thing on that show,it was a battle of the entrance music lyrics..and the rockers did a goof towards the rougeaus by doing this rockers lyric, it was a one time only thing....

  • Must've, it this theme with lyrics sounds aweful. I bet Marty and Shawn were drinking when they recorded it.

  • You'd think the AWA WrestleRock Rumble from 1986 would've been proof enough to the WWF that Marty and Shawn should not be singing. Jimmy Hart was 100% correct. I liked the variation of the theme music itself, though.

  • That vocal Rockers theme certainly didn't last long.
