  • if you flip the camera around to see whats behind the mirror....basics behind

    cloaking technology

  • major cool

  • amazing.

  • it's the *sound* I like

  • is that a camera at the end?

  • poor black people

  • hehe,

it hasn´t got enough Pixels :-)

  • that was very coooool XD i guessed right that it isn't really a mirror

  • actually it reflects light so it is a mirror

  • i was thinking it was just polished wooden peices that simply reflected and magnified the reflection. any large or small piece of glass will do the same and make either the reflection smaller or bigger depending on it's covex or concave shape, etc. whay would they have to use electricity here?

  • there are motion sensors behind the wooden panels which move at angles to reproduce the image. the electronics are used in the motion censors...it's not really a reflection, it's more so the shadows from the tilted wood that create the illusion of a reflection.

  • what happens if you put a real mirror in front of it? move it around at different angles maybe?

  • CREEPY COOL

  • honestly, i dont think it's a mirror.

that thing at the end was probably a camera, and then the wooden slats or what ever they were would tilt themselves such that they would appear lighter or darker compared to the slat next to it, providing shading, and thus, a picture. i doubt it would work nearly as well in a high light environment either.

  • would explain how at the start, you could see the guys image from the side, even though he was right infront of the object. if it was a mirror, we would see a wall on the other side of the room, not the guy standing infront.

that vid gets 5 stars cos it's awesome, even if i think it's mislabeled.

  • that's the way it works: this wooden mirror is made up of 830 tiny wood each controlled by a small motor. A camera gathers light and shape data and sends it to a computer which then shifts the panels to create the image in front of the device

  • wow thats cool

  • What was that noise at the end!?

  • very cool to say the least

  • These are awesome, and well shown in the environments where they are placed.

    Thank you for sharing!

  • WTF WAS THAT!!! awesome

  • if you are ugly you might break the mirror :-> ... but only if you move fast

  • wooo its fantastic mirror :D

  • pretty interesting

  • Great

  • Amazing !!!!! Thats incrdible

  • incredible!
