  • friendship is magic

  • Good movie, sad movie, how our soldiers had to die and Clinton became an idiot and just let these soldiers die in that country. My favorite movie.

  • A brother in arms is a brother for life.

  • Good timing with how Gortoz A Ran enters as we see Eversmen begin to break down around 4:50.

  • one of the best quotes in all of movies. one of the greatest movies too.

  • When you are sufering everthing changes

  • I don't know what it means 2 b there..I am just a regular soldier in Iraq(2 years)and 9 months in Afghanistan.God bless U all.

  • why is there parts cut out

  • Nobody asks to be a hero.

  • Why do we fight?..the US of A said so..but..once we go out there we depend in each other..the guy/girl next 2 me knows that I have their back no matter what because they have my back next time we go outside the wire..and that is war now days.

  • to me eric bana is the star,he made me smile

  • THE LAST LINE IS THE BEST LINE

  • fuck I cant wait to be part of the brotherhood.

  • @IdidURmom2 It is beyond anything you can imagine. The price is heavy but worth it.

  • The part that brings tears to my ears is when the commander is in the infirmary, wiping up the blood

  • Friendship? Brotherhood

  • I think my favorite part is when Lt.Col. McKnight sees a Ranger trying to crawl and says "Don't let that man crawl." Chokes me up every time I see it. RLTW. 3rd Bat.

  • roger that

  • Hoo yah

  • Eric bana's performance throughout the movie is incredible :)

  • the best war movie ever

  • Its hard to see your friends dying beside you asking them to give the letters, items etc to their loved ones you try to get them to snap out of it by saying "Damn it mail it yourself" or "who the hell said you are going to die" but when that doesn't work, you are going to see your friend die. And that is some tough stuff

  • For those who were there no explanation is necessary. For those who were not there no explanation is possible.

  • @jimkobe64 my best friends dad was there and he is just one sad person to look at cuss you can see the pain in his eyes, and just dont know what to say, what yu said is true.

  • The enduring emotion of war is comradeship. A comrade in war is a man you can trust with anything, because you trust him with your life. Unlike marriage, a bond I that cannot be broken by boredom or divorce, or by anything other than death. War is the only utopian experience most of us ever have. Individuals count for nothing: the group is everything. What you have is shared with your friends. Love transcends race and personality-things that would make a difference in peace.

  • the most motivational scene in all movies.. man I admire war heroes..we think we had it tough ... come the fuck on... what kind of a man are you when you get through all that sane and alive

  • completely right ^^ this is so motivating ... everyone for whom this is not enough to fight for good in this world is not worth living

  • im a go watch this again.. good stufff.

  • God damn I love this movie!

  • this is not friendship

this is real brotherhood, the men to your left and right are not your friends, their your brothers

  • are you serious? dont tell me they are my friends cause they are but they are also my brothers its a different level of friendship

  • @Steelers022 you said it man !

  • @Steelers022 No their are friends.

  • @Oxstayne Does Friends in Arms sound better than Brothers in Arms? I dont think so.

  • @crazyfire9117 Your just stupid.

  • @Oxstayne Im just saying. The soldiers around you aren't your friends. Their your brothers. Ask a lot of people. They will say brothers.

  • Comment removed

  • @crazyfire9117 oxstayne is right. its not a friendship out here. its a brotherhood.

  • @Steelers022 thats very true man. im a u.s. army infantry men an i can tell you from first hand experience that we here in the military aren't friends, we are brothers. no one will ever know the companionship of our brotherhood unless your right there in the field with us. we rely on one another to keep each other safe an make sure we come back home safe. the things we see together out here as brother will keep us all close for a life time.

  • @Steelers022 fuckin' right man... greets from polish soldier ;)

  • @Steelers022 your right brothers there for u in the darkies hour's of hell

  • @Steelers022 Have you been in combat...I think you must have been...God Bless You

  • this is a good movie and if you have seen the helicopter part and now with the kid riding on the blade you kind of want to"Get him off of it" if you know what I mean.

I do like the movie it has the real feel of war and how it not is fun and games.

  • when Hoot says in the begging "once that first bullet goes past your head, politics and all that shit go right out the window" that is so true because he right, once you start fighting nothing else matters but you and the men and woman next to you fighting. Nothing at home matters, politics, and other stuff, what is going on there is what matters at that point.

  • that scene and this one are my favorite scenes from the movie

  • yea man. i have 3 favorite scenes. this one, the one i was talking about, and when they are all in the copters getting ready to take off. they have this sweet song going called Voodoo Child during that point

  • Besides Gordon and Shughart, Hoot is another of my faves in this movie. I believe if he was in that helicopter he no doubt would have went with them. How do I know you ask? Because "there are still more men out there...it's about the men next to you. And that's it. That's all it is." This scene is poignant not only because of what Hoot said, but everytime someone was about to die, that music started to play in the background. To me it suggested his death. Man I love this movie. HEROES FOREVER!

  • "They won't understand..."

  • Like Ev(ersman) said, no one ever asked to be a hero, it just sometimes turns out that way. Really good video, my favorite movie and favorite book.

  • It's the way soldiers have to work, you cover everyone elses back and look out for each other, that way everyone (ish) will be ok.

  • We fight because of the respect, loyalty and friendship to each other we had to trust each other with our lives we were like brothers, and still are today once a soldier always a soldier

  • one more question. When he says"there are still more men out there" does he meen the somalian men or the other soldier men?

  • other u.s. soldiers

  • not to be a retard but i dont get the phrase "Its all about the men next to you"

  • the men fighting with you, its all about their friendship and loyalty

  • It's like the phrase fighting shoulder to shoulder

  • your not fighting for politics or diplomacy or even for ur country to some extent. your fighting for the guy to ur left and the guy to ur right, ud fight for them as they would for u u only get that connection in the forces

  • The man next wheather he's white or black is family he's your brother and thats worth fighting for, because them men would take a bullet for each other and thats friendship all the way

  • Very true.

  • the friend ship and family like is the key to a good world^^ if everyone would take the suffering for each other we would have any wars and problems with others

  • i think every soldier who does there duty without thinking of themselves only thinking of there friends, the people there are helping and the mission all deserve the silver star

  • thats as true as it gets
