I carry a couple flash cards in my wallet in case I ever have to roll a joint. If you know how to put em in it is actually faster to use the crutch to roll the joint.

Next time you roll a joint without a "Canadian", when your almost don't with the joint put it in a bowl parallel with the downstem and pack weed around it. As the roach burn down it will lite the the weed also. Just an idea I had one day

Crutches let you smoke all the weed in your joint as opposed to leaving a roach that either wastes bud (if you toss it) or you have to save for later (if you keep it). In terms of the leftover resin on the paper of a roach...I dunno, hasn't ever been worth it to me. Rather just comfortably smoke every bit of the bud I got.

@b2rc0d3 Sure it keeps weed from getting on your lips, but other than that, they don't really filter anything. There's resin on the joint paper/bliunt wrap, doesn't mean the paper is filtering it. Resin collects on the sides of pipes, the glass isn't filtering anything. Unless you're using a cotton filter or something, which would filter out THC.
when i roll it its a cone shape and i only roll it with the cardboardthen i pack the weed in after. i find it the best way to do it especially when your outdoors in the winter. and you dont want the weed to blow around everywhere

The thing with cardboard specially zig zags packaging is that it has printing ink on it. That filter can get pretty warm. I don't really want to suck smoke through that. In America there is no plain white cardboard filters provided to us so we make due.

crutches save you a little weed...theres always that little bit you cant smoke because your fat little fingers...paper at the end gives you something to hold. no clips and keeps you from having to bring a piece to jam that roach into...i say use the crutch, save the time of cooking a roach in a bowl..if youre going to have to put it in the bong, just use the bong and drop the joint. bong works better anyways.

I always roll with a crutch. It improves the joint's structure and smoke and takes only 30 seconds longer to roll; i'd be happy to prove it too. if you have a business card or magazine;a crutch can by any material with higher density then the papers you are using. This goes for blunts as well. The clutch only improves the roll and the smoke. The only draw back is you have to roll it fatter to accommodate the amount of crutch you use to make up for the weed you neglect to add in the length.
Crutches are good because without one, sometimes the tail end gets a little closed off due to saliva and resin build up. Crutches prevent that quite well, giving you an extremely clear pull all the way through. A properly rolled American style joint is still great though. iHeart Pot.
No no no, yes roll one without the cardboard coz its faster, im not waiting either, however, after that take a piece of cardboard from either ur cigs or orange zags, and make a crutch that u can use to kill the J so that there is no roach, then throw away the crutch or use it again and again-solves all probs, u can still throw ur roach in the bowl if u want. It doesnt hinder, change taste, or heat up this way!

it's all about cannabis culture and preferences, however a filter does provide a stable structure for your jay and makes for a better looking cone shaped joint, plus the drag is harder so you can take bigger/harder hits

@11aamiller 2 papers together, you place one rolling paper and another sticked to it on a 45-90 degre angle forming the L letter. Put the weed inside and roll just as a long rolling paper. Called L's usually used on the East sides of North America and Canada..

@g57yg Smoking weed that has already been used as a filter, a joint made from roaches? That just can't taste good or be healthy. I'd imagine that it's quite the hassle to save roaches aswell, especially if ur not at home, you gotta put em in ur pocket and then ur clothes smell nasty and have ashes in them =s. As far as throwing it in the bong, that could work but you could just as easily use crutches and toss in a nice piece o bud instead of some tarred up piece of crap my 2 cents

@osscarfransson rolling with a crutch is easier or at least as easy as it is to roll a joint period,its just sligghtly more time consuming and again fuck crutches i dont use them,there pointless but everytime im around someone that is useing 1 i smell cardboard and when i smoke i like to smell chronic,i used a crutch 1 time in a prerolled blunt(its a cone and u stuff it,no rolling at all)and it sucked and ruined everything and i roll the best blunts in the world kid,joints r to easy to mention

I call them crutches i just use plastic or something and crumble it up at the end. I like it better because you are able to smoke all of the marijuana without burning ur fingers or lips and you don't wast anything.

The thing with cardboard specially zig zags packaging is that it has printing ink on it. That filter can get pretty warm. I don't really want to suck smoke through that. In America there is no plain white cardboard filters provided to us so we make due.

crutches save you a little weed...theres always that little bit you cant smoke because your fat little fingers...paper at the end gives you something to hold. no clips and keeps you from having to bring a piece to jam that roach into...i say use the crutch, save the time of cooking a roach in a bowl..if youre going to have to put it in the bong, just use the bong and drop the joint. bong works better anyways.

I always roll with a crutch. It improves the joint's structure and smoke and takes only 30 seconds longer to roll; i'd be happy to prove it too. if you have a business card or magazine;a crutch can by any material with higher density then the papers you are using. This goes for blunts as well. The clutch only improves the roll and the smoke. The only draw back is you have to roll it fatter to accommodate the amount of crutch you use to make up for the weed you neglect to add in the length.

Crutches are good because without one, sometimes the tail end gets a little closed off due to saliva and resin build up. Crutches prevent that quite well, giving you an extremely clear pull all the way through. A properly rolled American style joint is still great though. iHeart Pot.

No no no, yes roll one without the cardboard coz its faster, im not waiting either, however, after that take a piece of cardboard from either ur cigs or orange zags, and make a crutch that u can use to kill the J so that there is no roach, then throw away the crutch or use it again and again-solves all probs, u can still throw ur roach in the bowl if u want. It doesnt hinder, change taste, or heat up this way!
