When your in the main menu, go to the War (something, like war profile I forgot) and you can check the ranked leader boards, custom leader boards, social leader boards, ect and at the bottom you'll see how many are playing that certain game mode in rank/custom/social ^^ (or how many people have played it in that time period) sorry for not being able to be completely accurate, but gives you a general idea! Happy gaming! ^^
