Wow some of the comments in here about Rebecca, Have some respect, she is All For Christ and her music has inspired me more than Petra has and they are a christian rock band whome I've adored since I was a teenager. Only been listening to her for less than a week now and I Adore her words for christ.
She is not trying to be God. She's using the gifts God gave her, and using them to preach about Him in her music. You don't have to be a preacher to preach. Just speak the Word of Jesus.
When a Christian artist is revered higher than God, what is the problem with that? The rock medium can be good for reaching those who are drawn to that genre. Rebecca is doing as Paul the apostle did: when he was in Rome, he became like the Romans, and so forth. I believe she is pure of heart and right now the world needs her influence. When she becomes bigger than God, it's time to call it quits.
Some people would say, maybe instead of telling us her true feelings , she should just quote the bible to us and not write any messages from her heart..... remember she is NOT a pastor, she is a Christian artist.......... After listening to most of her CDS, it seems obvious to me ,she is really born-again and loves the Lord.

If SHE HAD ONE THING TO SAY it would be You are loved?!?! Has she lost her mind? What about Jesus? What about sin? What about salvation? What about repentance? Don't be decieved by her.
She isnt saying dont worry about sin and everything else that can lead us astray...but no matter how much we mess up, we are still loved by God and it is that love that gives us Grace. How do you honestly feel God would react to your response?

She can talk about 500 other different things beside the gospel, and if she has a relationship with Christ, she is doing well, and will be saved. In fact, a person never has to mention the gospel a single time through their entire life, but if they show and teach it by their example, which is, incidentally, the most effective way of influencing anyone, not preaching to them, then they belong to God, and are doing well.

Without first making the effort to familiarize yourself with the evangelical strategy through the ages, all the different ways of administering it, you create false premises, and make false conclusions. You have to educate yourself a little in theological thought, so that you don't make these snap judgments. It's difficult, but if you do it, you'll be enlightened, your mind will be clearer, and you will have true faith, not this sickly scepticism.

Ive been to several of her concerts, read her books and seen several interviews where she explicitly talks about Jesus, his message etc.
